Location and Harbour views. Comfortable beds.
Shabby and in need of renovation. Little staff about. Breakfast not good value . Time taken in Bar for drinks and coffee. Furniture in Bar shabby Sport Channel . TV in Bar not good reception. TV in oom not working on NZTV live channels, so needed to change rooms to rectify problem. Given complimentary drinks and breakfast see above, breakfast not rated
Love the location and facilities. The views are amazing.
Rooms are comfortable and clean. Getting somewhat tired in decor
Location
We stay at the Copthorne everytime we visit Wellington. We always get a room with a harbour view which is really cool especially at night with the city and harbour all lit up. The beds are super comfortable and we highly recommend this hotel.
Parking is an issue at times, parking area is too small and the other carpark is away from the hotel ( which you pay for )
The restaurant is a let down, we had breakfast there one morning on one of our first visits and the chef looked sloppy and he was unfriendly and the food was very average. ( They may have a new chef by now I am not sure ) We tend to go out to eat instead now.

The wind comes in under doors they are not sealed at all limited cups no plates etc very uncomfortable
The location was great, the rooms a good size and clean, great staff and good food with a reasonably priced bar, we would stay again,.. from Cairns, Australia.
