Hotel V Frederiksplein

We were given a room in the attic like Anne Frank and I had paid for a comfort room. You couldn’t move and the stairs were dangerous. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. I complained through the WhatsApp service and they helped by getting our room changed next day to a better room. Shame as we were only there for 2 nights. My mum was 70 and they were not accommodating at all. Two buildings and only one with a lift. I wouldn’t stay here again

Zvučna izolacija je nešto lošija, čuje se zatvaranje vrata susjednih soba i hodanje, ali zato sam na poklon dobila čepiće za uši i pakiranje stroopwafelsa :)

Mattress was too soft for us. Need more lights in the room - very dark. Also couldn’t turn the heating off and would have expected the bin to be emptied every day.

The room is tiny. And they charged us to extend our checkout for an additional 2 hours

The room was tiny for £235 a night! smallest room I have ever stayed in. Cant believe what they are charging for the room.
No cups for coffee, just glasses.
The bed was made, but the bins weren't emptied, and the glasses weren't changed.
Dust/fluff around edge of the room

Extremely uncomfortable. Never slept worse at a hotel. For the price it was not acceptable. The toiletries were empty and never filled up. The little window gave no proper light into the room

Disappointing stay. We booked a Double Comfort room but were put in a dark ground-floor room in the building next door, with awkward proportions and bad acoustics that made it uncomfortable, and a dusty cobweb hanging above the bed. For a Saturday night at this price, this was not acceptable.

We asked to be moved straight away to the room we had paid for, but the hotel was full that night. The next day we were moved to a room that was decent and matched the photos we had booked from, though still expensive for what it offered.

No partial refund or compensation was offered for the first night, despite the room clearly not being what we booked. The day staff were not particularly friendly. I would not recommend this hotel.

The first room we were presented was dirty, there were hair on the shower walls from previous guests, bedsheets were dirty and the lights on the wall looked unsafe as they were hanging on which made me feel like we couldn’t switch them on.

Es gab zwar 4 Kissen, aber die waren so dick, dass man nicht darauf liegen konnte. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Meines war neben dem Fahrstuhl, sodass es ständig Geräusche gab.
Das Treppenhaus ist recht ungepflegt, der Fahrstuhl winzig. Es gab eine Kaffeemaschine und einen Wasserkocher und einen guten Föhn.

I didn’t like the fact how small the rooms were they look different in the pics

My only complaint is the hair products didn’t do well with my frizz prone curly hair, my partner with normal hair was fine with the products. Definitely bring your own products if you have hair like mine!

Vi boede i baghuset på 1. sal. Det, der skulle være en trappe, var næsten en stige, og jeg havde simpelthen besvær med at komme op og ned, især med kuffert. Meget utrygt ift. sikkerheden.

Derudover var værelset virkeligt mikroskopisk, og noget bed mig i sengen / på værelset. Jeg fandt ikke ud af hvad, og det kan selvfølgelig være fløjet ind ad vinduet.
