Pros:

De buiten omgeving en de uitstraling van het hoofdgebouw. Het diner en het ontbijt waren prima, in een eetzaal met sfeer.

Cons:

Alle suites zitten in de bijgebouwen en zijn allemaal anders met antieke meubels ingericht. Op basis van de website foto’s hadden wij gekozen voor de suite inplaats van een slaapkamer omdat daar op de site een mooi betegelde en grote badkamer op stond. In de praktijk hebben ze ons twee suites aangeboden, de eerste hebben we meteen geweigerd en en bij de tweede dachten we nou ja “het moet maar”. De inrichting lijkt wel 40 jaar oud en alles was heel stoffig en slecht onderhouden, het bed was doorgezakt, de vloerkleden gerafeld, en de voegen van de tegels in de douche en het douche gordijn zat vol met zwarte schimmel. De douche lampjes en het bedlampje werkten niet en het rook er ontzettend muf. De suite van de website was helaas al door een ander echtpaar in gebruik. We hoorden bij het uitchecken bij de receptie, dat een groot gedeelte van de slaapkamers wel al gerenoveerd was. Ze vonden het jammer dat we de tweede kamer ook niet geweigerd hadden, want dan hadden ze ons nog een van de gerenoveerde slaapkamers kunnen aanbieden.
