Good location for seeing Sorrento. Decent breakfast. Comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Good Air conditioning. Pool.
A few things didn't like as per below but would still recommend staying here if on a budget.

Hotel con excelente ubicación en Sorrento. El edificio es muy bonito, con habitaciones modernas y runcionales. El desayuno es muy variado y completo. La piscina es muy amplia y los empleados han sido serviciales durante la estadia

Great family run hotel, in the heart of Sorrento. Room was spotless, large and very reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend and return too⭐️

As the title says, Fawlty Towers but sadly without the humour. But they do have their very own Manuel.
As soon as we arrived the receptionist demanded the 35 euros tourist tax in cash. Having been to Italy a few times before, I am sure this is not normally paid until you leave and you have a choice of cash or card. I may be wrong.
The room was reasonably fresh looking but lacked tea/coffee making facilities, complementary bottles of water in the fridge, any shower gel in the bathroom (just two tiny shampoos) and besides a telephone by the bed, none of the usual information notes or guides etc..
Our terrace was part of the roof above the restaurant containing two metal chairs ( great in 30+ degree heat) and a tiny table. An umbrella in such a sun trap would be nice.
Breakfast as said in a previous post was boring and with little choice. The drinks machines either did not work or gave short measures.
The pool area is rarely cleaned and if you do go there, expect the staff to start tidying up or do the gardening whilst you are there. We had them cutting the hedge one afternoon, using the petrol strimmer and cutting the grass on another occasion. Why they cannot do this before or after the pool times beats me and many other guests commented on this.
As well as that, on most days you will have the owners children/grandchildren invading your space and peace and quiet anytime after 1 and until the pool closes.
The one plus point around the pool is the lady who serves the drinks. She is both polite and helpful. About the only member of staff that is.
Housekeeping is very hit and miss. One day good the next bad. Depends entirely on who you get each day.
The one massive plus point for this hotel is the location. Literally two minutes from both the main square and the bus/coach park.
All in all not a good experience and we will not be returning!
It is a shame as with such a good sized hotel in a superb location, you can’t help feel that with new owners/staff, some investment and a lot of tlc, this could be a great place. Sadly I cannot see that happening.

Amazing, central, friendly, family run hotel. We visited with our teenage daughter and cannot rate this hotel enough. We were welcomed by Michael and John and after a swift and cheery check-in we were shown to our room. Our balcony was outstanding and a big surprise! We have visited Sorrento a few times but stayed up the hill so wanted a central location. Wow; we were not disappointed! 3 minutes from the beautiful, bustling Piazza Tasso. Exactly what we wanted.
Nothing was a problem from this delightful family who work so hard. Lots of places to sit and relax within the gardens and the hotel grounds.
We will definately be returning and are already looking at dates for next year. Thank you so much to you all
