I consider Delta to be a standard mid range hotel. It was quite highly priced for a community of this size.
Pros:

Well trained staff who provided good customer service.. very helpful front desk staff.

Cons:

I was there without a vehicle. The hotel is not located near any shops/ restaurants so was fairly isolated.

Loss of value….too expensive
Pros:

Good location, bed fairly comfortable

Cons:

The price in the end for one nights stay was crazy. We go to Guelph a lot and I will certainly stay some place more affordable next time.

Good location, very clean and welcoming, stuff is great.
Pros:

the room was clean and nice and everything was great, the staff was very helpful and welcoming

Cons:

The breakfast that was included was not really a breakfast and you needed to add money if your bill was over $25, there were 4 of us and coffee was around $4 so we ended up adding around $100 in total for 2 days stay and the parking wasn't free and we were charged around $25 a day, all of this would be fine if we knew before we booked the stay which was primarily because of the breakfast and parking. Overall the stay was great but the extra charges was not something we planned on spending.

Easy walk to University of Guelph
Pros:

I stayed a this hotel because it's right next to the University of Guelph, which I was visiting for a campus tour.

I arrived be rental car, and there was plenty of parking available. The check-in service was good. Jonathan checked me in, and he was very polite and well mannered. We went through the standard ID and credit card checks, and he went through the hotel amenities. As this Delta doesn't have a lounge or pantry, they provide free breakfast for platinum (or greater) member + 1 guest, which I gladly took over the points.

We given a room on the 6th (top) floor. As we walked through, the noted the lobby and hallways are nice enough. They're dated, but well-kept and clean. Our room felt the same in terms of look. I'm not sure if we were upgraded, but the room had a small living area with sofa-bed, and then a separate bedroom. It was roomy enough. Had a microwave, mini-fridge and small sink which are handy. Bathroom was good size, and WiFi worked well. I didn't notice any road noise, but I think the fridge was a bit on the loud side - which isn't a concern for anyone sleeping in the bedroom, but bothersome for the person sleeping on the sofa bed.

The hotel restaurant, Bar Mason, was notably good. For dinner we shared a pizza which was pleasantly good. The chicken wings were ok. As for breakfast, we got a smoked salmon benny and avocado toast - also both good. As for free platinum member breakfasts go, it was better than average in quality and there were no limitations on what we could pick as long as it one menu item and one drink each.

I didn't use any of the other amenities.

There is a small strip mall behind the hotel, but there isn't much close otherwise. The only reason I stayed here was to go to the university, which is just across the street.

My stay was fine. The hotel was generally ok, but nothing special. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The rate I paid was relatively high, but it was for the convenience of visiting the University of Guelph.

You can stay in a hotel nearby for a lot less and get a breakfast.
Pros:

The location is good. I could buy a Starbucks coffee in the lobby.

Cons:

The room was small- it was a “suite” with kitchenette but didn’t have anything included in the room that isn’t found in any of the hotel rooms. No dishes, glasses or anything for the so called kitchentte. The only difference between our room and a hotel was an added wall- one less bed replaced by a sofa bed. We were told it was a king suite but it had a queen size bed.
The fitness centre is dreary with very little equipment - sets of some dumbbells only had one weight. It’s obvious they don’t invest anything in the fitness centre.
There wasn’t a breakfast included.
