The lady at the front was extremely rude. Not the pretty one who's niece had a birthday. She was snappy and not using her customer service voice nor skills to communicate with me. She gave me a hard time about my refund in regard to my service dog that she kept referring to as a ESA animal.
Having assistance from someone who values their job and customers.
It was dirty the bathtub I asked staff to clean it he told me I could clean it myself the whole first floor smell like dogs & asked to be moved he moved me but water was on the floor everywhere from the shower

The pool was clean and not crowded. The front desk people, were absolutely wonderful, cheerful and friendly and very accommodating. The entire hotel was very clean. I own my own clean service and try to stay at ESA when I'm out of town working. No matter where I stay or how clean it is I always clean my room before I go to bed but this is one hotel that I actually felt comfortable in without cleaning it first. I am so impressed and that location is older but in better condition that some newer ones!
The pool hours closes too early 7 pm and opens way too late 10am I guess I understand why but doesn't leave much time to hop in rhe pool when check in is at 3 pm and out is at 11 am 😕

The bath tub had hairs, and I hadn't used it.

The location because of the restaurants
A lot of homeless people walking around, asking you for cigarettes or lighter. You can also smell other people’s dinner and got a little overwhelming. I locked myself out of the room and asked for a key and the lady told me I had to wait until she loads her laundry, but the gentleman was very nice at the counter and he was able to help me.
