Won’t stay there again we think it is a builders and contractors digs
Pros:

It was off the beaten track and quiet at night enjoyed the music playing in the corridor, bed was comfortable, and the room was sort of ok. The spa bath was the best thing about the room!
We had an evening meal on our first night the food was lovely but the set up was like something out of fawlty towers just really no common sense

Cons:

The hotel is outdated, the grounds look scruffy and the hotel needs a good lick of paint outside to cover unsightly peeling and in bedroom peeling windows. We arrived on Monday the lady on reception was very welcoming and attentive, we decided to book a table for 6.30 for our evening meal, that’s where it went wrong any other hotel we have stayed at when you book a table for a certain time you are guaranteed that table at that time as that is the whole point of a reservation not here when we came down and spoke to the lady (who was very polite by the way) we were told that we had to wait in the lounge area as the food is cooked fresh so we cannot have said table for the time reserved just completely baffled by this as then we had to sit there like spare parts on a seat that had seen better days it was ripped and rammy, and we was not seated at our 6.30 reserved table till almost 7.30 when the food was cooked, which was totally bizarre, whilst we was there there was literally a couple, us when we finally got seated and a bloke, because of this topsy turvey underwhelming dining experience we decided to give dining there for the second night a wide berth. The room positive areas as above negative do not understand at all tea and coffee making facilities why and it is like a couple of hotels we have been to why do hotels think if 2 people are staying for 2 nights just to provide 4 milk jiggers is acceptable we have paid for the room so I do not believe I should have to ring down for more milk and sugar so I said to my partner after our day out oh housekeeping have made the bed looked at our tea and coffee facilities and they had left the coffee and tea in cups that we had no milk for and not replenished the tray absolutely disgraceful and there is no way on something that should be done as a given during your stay I am ringing down and begging for milk coffee etc putting the customer in a position where they have to ask like Oliver is it ok if I have some more!!

Thank you
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel for a week after my home was flooded, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Not only did they welcome me, but they also made my two chihuahuas, Hetty and Henry, feel at home too. While I was at work, my son and his girlfriend stayed with the dogs, and the staff were just as welcoming to them.

I’d read some previous reviews saying the hotel is a little dated, but I actually think that’s part of its charm. It feels like the hotel has kept its character, and I really liked that.

A special thank you to Helen, the manager, who couldn’t do enough for me. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, which made such a difficult time so much easier.

I would love to come back again, but under much better circumstances! Thank you all for your kindness and hospitality.

Keep up the fantastic work.

Lots of love,

Room 104 ❤️

A Wonderful Place for Our Large Event.
Pros:

Our organisation recently chose Brook Hall Hotel for a very important event. I simply cannot praise Helen and her staff highly enough. Every single aspect of the event went to plan and that was, in large part, due to Helen's extraordinary professionalism and willingness to make our vision, come alive. We had 175 people there, from across the North West, from London and from Wales, who erupted into a spontaneous round of enthusiastic applause, when we publicly thanked Brook Hall Hotel for their superb hospitality. From the very beginning of our planning, right until the last guest left, Brook Hall Hotel did us proud. This fabulous hotel is an absolute gem. Set in gorgeous grounds, in the midst of rural Cheshire, you couldn't wish for a better place to hold your event. Our principle guests all stayed overnight and were blown away by the comfort and cleanliness of their rooms and the delicious food on offer.
We would particularly like to thank, Helen, her two marvellous Chefs, Julie and her sister on the bar and Val, the housekeeper, extraordinaire.
Thank you to you all, for making our event such a roaring success.
We sincerely hope you will have us back and look forward to doing business with you all again.
Brook Hall Hotel - choose it for your next event. They will do you proud.
