Pros:

Great location, central but not too busy and loud. Beautiful canal view from our cute room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lobby with bar and breakfast area is very pretty too.

Great location, staff and experience. We would definitely stay there again
Pros:

Great property! Staff was friendly and very helpful, room was nice and view was great. The decorated for our anniversary and you get free welcome drinks!

Cons:

The stairs were crazy but that’s just part of the authenticity.

Pros:

Staff and location are great but the rooms are so tiny, incredibly noisy and not at all well equipped.

Cons:

We didn't get the room we booked and instead were offered two really small rooms on the ground floor right next to the lobby. Constant passing traffic and people stomping up and down the stairs above us. Poor facilities, the kettle had to be filled with the shower head as the sink was too small. Hairdryer didn't work, had to repeatedly ask for tea and milk.
It's really not a cheap hotel, expected more.

Pros:

Great location. Attractive building.

Cons:

Very small rooms. Poor lighting in rooms and bathrooms. Overpriced breakfast buffet with few options and very slow to replenish.

A wonderful hotel with lots about it , location and good service . Too expensive for what we got and pls provide coffee

The location … fantastic ! The staff … fantastic ! The ambience and decor … fantastic!

Sadly some negatives …. I asked for a lower floor as I am quite debilitated and was put on the top floor ! This was a major issue .

Also for the money this cost … no coffee in the room !! Just tea and not even any milk . I think it’s poor . Then charging us for a coffee we bought , not very good customer service .

Perfect location for this quirky hotel
Pros:

Me and my 15 year old daughter had our first stay here. Check in was smooth and quick with a complimentary welcome drink. Our room was in the third floor. Not ideal for those who struggle with stairs especially steep and winding with your luggage. We managed ok though and this didnt put us off. Our room was quirky, clean and the bed was super comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect. Right in the heart of everything. We were able to walk everywhere. Value for money was excellent. We would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely book again when we visit. Hotel is also dog friendly which is a bonus.
