The perfect blend of Dutch charm, outstanding service, and an unbeatable location made this a family stay to remember.
Pros:

Our stay at this hotel was one of the highlights of our time in Amsterdam. Traveling with a group of eight, we reserved two rooms, and Room 401 was truly exceptional. It felt like the best room in the hotel, complete with steps just outside where we could sit, relax, and enjoy the beautiful canal views.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. After an overnight flight from the United States, we arrived well before check-in and greatly appreciated being able to store our luggage while we explored the city. Rasmus, Ebony, and Larissa were especially outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable.
The location could not have been better. Situated on a picturesque canal near the Anne Frank House, the hotel is within walking distance of many of Amsterdam’s most popular attractions. We were even able to take a direct train from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Centraal Station and comfortably walk to the hotel.
As a historic property, the hotel has plenty of character, including some steep staircases in the main building. However, the staff happily assisted with luggage, making it a non-issue for our group.
A thoughtful touch was the complimentary beverage offered upon arrival. The hot chocolate quickly became a favorite and was the perfect welcome after our journey.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Between the outstanding hospitality, charming atmosphere, and unbeatable location, it exceeded our expectations in every way.

Cons:

Honestly, very little. The only thing to note is that the historic building has steep stairs, which could be difficult for some guests. The staff was happy to help with luggage, so it wasn’t an issue for us.

I lined the location the hotel ruined my stay. It was awful.
Pros:

The location and reception were great

Cons:

The room was awful. The cleaner left a wet cloth from cleaning the bathroom on my case. No respect for their customers. The view was awful. A dirty wet roof with discarded rubbish on it.

Great location. Excellent relation quality-price
Pros:

Ubicación, vistas desde la habitación. Personal muy amable. Confort de la cama

Cons:

Encontré la papelera llena. Sin embargo, no es crítico para mí. Sigo valorando muy bien el hotel a pesar de este hecho.

Charming hotel in a lovely, convenient location with lovely staff.
Pros:

Really great location, on a canal, near good restaurants and walkable from the train station. I really loved my room which was charming with a quirky look. It was a reasonable size with three lovely windows overlooking a lane and nice plants. The bathroom was small but totally functional. The staff were all lovely which was a bonus as it does not have a lift but the young staff took my heavy suitcase to my room. You also get a drink on arrival.

Cons:

My only complaint was not enough electrical power plugs.

Perfect for an authentic stay in Amsterdam
Pros:

Such a cool and fun place to stay...ANYONE who writes a bad review because of the stairs is an IDIOT. The hotel specifies that they do not have elevators. They CANNOT put one in... it's a historic building! Right on the canal, a very short walk to the Central Station... it's just amazing. Super nice, helpful and fun staff. Walking distance to everything.... it's just a wonderful place to stay. Plan on a lot of walking or biking in this city ANYWAYS, so hoofing up a floor or 2 to your room is REALLY not a big deal. I actually really enjoyed the stairs, it adds to the experience. So much fun....I would absolutely stay there again, and for reference, we were in the VERY, TIPPY TOP room that looks out over the canals. Room 111. :) One of my favorite places I've stayed in Europe.

Cons:

There really wasn't anything I didn't like about it... they even have umbrellas by the front door for guests to use! Above and beyond.

Pros:

Fun location, great staff, highly recommend!
Pros:

Cool property with a fun energy. Nice breakfast and greatly appreciated the welcome drink after a long bike ride. It was a great way to end our week traveling in the Netherlands!

Cons:

Nothing. We were fine with lots of stairs (it’s the norm here), but be aware.
