Vriendelijk personeel; mooie, schone kamers; goed ontbijt; goed restaurant; mooie ligging
Erg duur
Location
This hotel is overpriced. I paid £6000 for 3 rooms for 4 nights. Rooms were small with poor sound insulation. Rubbish bin never cleared. Coffee tray never refilled. Bedside lights are impossible to read by. The worst thing is dinner. There are only 6 main courses & they do not include beef, chicken, pork or lamb!
Skye is a beautiful island, this property also beautiful
Staff very helpful and friendly
We stayed in the gate house. Not sure I fully recommend. Windows dirty on outside and bathroom fixture in tub and on toilet broken. Good space for family but no place to hang clothes or no dressers really.
Beautiful place just very over priced
Too expensive
Unique location besides a river and loch
Stunning former hunting lodge with plenty of original features.
Our room was well decorated and comfortable, if a little on the small side.
Dinner was nicely presented. Breakfast was good. Although some aspects felt underwhelming- used of cheap sausages let it down a bit, as was well made in general.
Overall we felt it was quite expensive.
Absolutely loved our stay here! The employees were wonderful - friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant food was delicious - breakfast and especially dinner. Highly recommend the venison. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room had an outside sitting area with a great view of the river. It was our favorite hotel of all the places we stayed during our 2 week tour of Scotland.
Everything about our stay at Skeabost was lovely. The staff is friendly and attentive. The location is perfect to explore the island. The food is delicious.
Interesting building looking at it from the front of the hotel
Took a room with view of the loch.
Room was a lot smaller than expected for the price we paid. Just the size of a standard 3* hotel room.
So as a result, the score we give you is the lowest possible for value for money. Compared with other places we stayed in the Highlands, this was the worst value for money.
Dinner was ok but again not worth the price. Why on earth are you serving Welsh water instead of Scottish water. What's wrong with Strathmore !!!
Breakfast a major disappointment. Lukewarm scrambled egg. No fresh berries for breakfast.
Very comfortable and well-sized family lodge. Cosy living space and very clean toilet with heated flooring. Had an incredible stay there!
Lovely location next to the sea and fantastic historic building full of charm and very comfortable
Nothing but a little expensive
On a adoré notre chambre et la salle de restaurant. Le parc de l’hôtel est également magnifique.
La carte de restaurant manque un peu de variété. Il serait bien qu’il propose au moins un menu du jour.
What a pleasant hotel - with a unique setting on the shoreline of Loch Snizort! We had a one-night stay there and enjoyed the quaintness it offered. The restaurant for dinner has a beautiful view of the loch; the morning breakfast was in another part of the mansion-turned-hotel, and the food was delicious as well... We had a room on the 3rd floor, which was very comfortable.
big bedroom and bathroom, friendliness of the staff
the smell of rotten fish when we arrived put us off eating there at night,
