Comfortable beds and great breakfast.
I would have preferred the.rooms to be on the same floor or adjoining.
It looked nice from outside
When we arrived the sofa bed had a huge hole in the mattress and the carpet was dirty they moved us to another room the mattresses were better but room wasn't very clean carpets stained and dirty and cupboards had dirty marks on it and doors as well was glad to leave on last day we were first to breakfast and trays were dirty with empty sugar pks on and one of the plates was dirty too
Cleanliness of the reception area and the room was really good, no awful sticky floors or carpets, the room and shower room were well appointed with plenty of cupboards/hanging space/electrical sockets/towels and with reading lamps above the beds, and blackout curtains. There was an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, tea/coffee equipment, and a TV. Lovely comfortable non squeaky firm clean beds and pillows. The reception ladies upon check in were friendly and professional, and the breakfast was calm with the tables being cleared quickly and refills for the hot food were brought out frequently. Check out the two lift ceilings, there are stars! There's an ice machine in the foyer, very useful. Hotel was quiet itself, and seemed to be in a quiet residential area with plenty of parking, no noise from the train line close by.
The air conditioning was hopeless, just not cold enough, as is the problem at many UK hotels no matter what you do to the settings - had to have the window open (as far as it would go) instead - we're having unprecedented hot weather, we need cooler rooms to sleep! We made good use of that ice machine in the lobby. I am fairly sure that a fan could have been supplied if we'd asked, but the air was so hot, a fan would have just sent the heat around the room even more, so we didn't ask for one.

Breakfast was lovely
Had to change rooms as mattress on bed had a huge hole I it with the stuffing coming out of it
in room was filthy we booked 2 rooms and 2nd room had a leak in toilet which was fixed quickly also it was a bit too far away from the nec

Beds not comfortable, breakfast a let down compared to other holiday inns. Orange juice was over watered cordial, coffee machine in everyone way in/out of restaurant

Nice big room with plenty of space for the dogs. Was at the end of the corridor so nice & quiet too. Breakfast was very nice & a good start to our day. Staff very friendly & helpful
Requested a room with connecting door as staying alongside a friend which we was given but sadly the door on my friends side wouldn't open so we couldn't make use of it. Did speak to reception who came to have a look but also couldn't open it
Carpet had some old stains on it, nothing huge & didn't bother me much but maybe could do with a new carpet
