Nice to have a room with a small outside terrace
No air conditioning in the rooms, meaning..
Although the hotel provided a desk fan in the room, as the August weather was very warm, the inside atmosphere in the room was also, making sleeping a challenge.

We have just returned from another excellent break at South Lawn.
As always , the staff were great...the rooms were spotlessly clean and the food
was marvelous,
The amazing thing is ,that the staff manage to maintain these standards consistently.

Spent a fabulous few days with the wife and our two dogs at the South Lawn Hotel in Milford on Sea.
Every time we return, both the hotel and the staff seem to get better and better. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, and the food is absolutely first class.
Whether you’re there for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and cakes, or an evening meal, you certainly won’t be disappointed.
A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back! 🐾❤️

Staff were so kind and helpful. We had 3 dogs with us and the facilities for them were amazing with fenced dog paddock, they were allowed in the restaurant. Lovely big room and couldn’t fault anything. Would definitely stay again.

Continental breakfast, good choices & good value for money. We didn't have the cooked breakfast but from what I saw it looked well cooked & appetising although possibly slightly overpriced at £13.50. Evening meal was excellent, a wide choice of meals, wines & beers. Room was nice & clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV was big enough (not too large), the bathroom & shower were excellent with plenty (but not too many) towels for the 2 of us.
More of a couple of suggestions rather than didn't likes: (1) There were 4 or more portions of butter on each table but about 30% weren't used so may have been thrown away which would be a waste. (2) I didn't see any recycling bins in the room or in the hotel for plastic so didn't know what to do the empty plastic water bottles we had. I may have missed the recycling bins but if I did it was because they weren't prominent.
Room was ok but basic. Dinner was nice
Breakfast was terrible, and very expensive.
