It is OK in a pinch, but not worth $171 for one night.
Pros:

Staff was lovely and friendly. The breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

I had no hot water for my morning shower. I was in the outside addition (room 42). Also, the spare blanket that I pulled from the wardrobe was stained and did not smell clean.

The Riverside in Mildenhall UK
Pros:

We flew into the local air base only to be disappointed by the base lodging not accepting non active duty personnel. The delightful young lady at the base lodging desk gave us a list of local hotels with the Riverside being the closest. Upon research it was also the best reviewed. Upon arriving at Riverside we were warmly received by Liam who quickly oriented us to the hotel. Our room was clean quiet and very comfortable. We had lunch and a breakfast in the hotel's dining room. The food was delicious with generous portions and great wait service. There is a bar with a selection of beers and other adult beverages. My sole regret is we only stayed one night. Should we pass through Mildenhall again I will most assuredly stay at this hotel.

A nice hotel that could easily be enhanced with a deep clean and some TLC
Pros:

It was in the exact location we wanted to stay in. The price was reasonable for the size of the room, the modern bathroom and the good breakfast. The bed itself was clean and comfortable

Cons:

The room was very dusty and i mean not only surface dust that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in maybe a week. But as my husband plugged in appliances there were balls of bust which looked like the room hadn’t been cleaned in a long while! Unacceptable!
And no, we didn’t complain as we had gone up, unpacked and were only staying for 2 nights. We didn’t really want all that old dust and debris flicked around on our things!
The shower cubicle was not clean. It had water and soap marks on the glass. Again not cleaned carefully and with attention.
Ive saved the best for last. I asked for a glass of ice from the bar and half a glass was provided
When i finished drinking it i had A FINGERNAIL in my mouth AND it wasn’t mine!!! It sums up the cleaning level in the whole hotel. Nothing looked or felt clean:
1) Nail in glass
2) dirty room
3) uncleaned shower
4) greasy cutlery
5) the tables in the garden were filthy and I mean so dirty they looked like they hadn’t been wiped in a long while
6) The garden area was unkempt it needed some care to make it look like a flick of birds hadn’t been slaughtered on it!

Tired of moaning now. There was a lot of issues that i dealt with by thinking…only 2 nights!

A hotel in a very good area with large rooms.
Pros:

The room was very large and the bathroom nice and modern. The bed was large unreasonably comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and cooked to order their continental selection was minimal however there was enough there for you to have a bit of choice. These are the plus sides of the Riverside house Hotel.
The room was very dusty when we entered and in plugging in our chargers, my husband found heaps of dust behind the units. I suppose we could’ve complained but then someone would’ve come in and swept it all around the room and we thought it better to let sleeping dogs lie
The shower cubicle was large and the glass hadn’t been cleaned very well and there was dirt in the bottom of the tray but not enough to stop me from using it. It just appeared a bit unkempt.
The reason I’ve written this review is that on my last night I asked for a glass of ice as there are no glasses in the room and I wanted a drink that I had with me.
On reaching the last mouthful of the icy water, I felt a piece of, II hope, fingernail in my mouth that was obviously in the glass or maybe the ice!
I have a photo of this. The white chunk in the bottom of the glass is the nail.
To have this in my mouth was absolutely disgusting and I cannot get rid of the thought of feeling of it being there.
It kind of summed up the Hotel. It was all a bit grubby. The tables in the garden area look like they hadn’t been wiped down in a long time. Some of the knives and forks in the breakfast area needed a wipe before use and one of them was positively sticky. The Hotel looks like it needs a thorough clean top to bottom and the dishwasher certainly needs some attention if the cutlery and glass was anything to go by.

Good staff but hotel not looked after and room we was in was very poor.
Pros:

Staff were good and breakfast was nice

Cons:

The room was pretty poor, toilet didn’t flush properly, the shower doors were broken so didn’t close and the shower head needs a good descaling, also don’t think the Air conditioning was working

It was great for the one night, but a room at the back would have been better.
Pros:

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, nice that there were two chairs instead of the usual one. Bed was ok and the room had air con. Lots of choice for breakfast. Also had its own car park which is always a bonus.

Cons:

It would have been nice if food was served on a Sunday evening, didn't realise that it wasn't which was a pain. Our room was at the front and the road is very busy which made it noisy. Definitely needed new pillows the ones that were there were like bricks so very uncomfortable.

A quick drink and then a meal
Pros:

I went up here with my wife as we knew that the hotel had been under new management for a little while now and wanted to see how things were going. Initially just for a drink and also if we liked the look of the menu a meal as well. Good choice of drinks on tap and also Modelo which is a very rare one to see.
Both ordered starters, sausage rolls and pate. Then for mains we had a chicken burger and fish and chips. All very tasty and clearly made fresh. 1 afters of the cheesecake which was also very nice. All in all a good experience and we will definitely be back. Good value for money as everything was reasonably priced and the portions were filling. Carla served us and was very friendly and polite.
