Location was nice
The man on the front desk who checked us in wasn't particularly warm or friendly. I'd made the booking but my friends arrived later and 2 of them were told they were sharing a family room, which is not what I'd booked. We had to go back to reception and change it. When we went back, we waited for around 10 mins for someone to help us, having asked twice for assistance. The lift doesn't work when we returned in the evening, my partner had to run up to the top floor to send it down
The first room they put me into was discussing. It was in the attic it was tiny, it smelt very musty the window paintwork needed replacing and the lift didn’t work. They did move me into another room which was much better.
Very good breakfast
Bed was a little hard and only a double even though it was supposed to be a superior room .
Didn’t like the lift, so walked up to 3rd floor .
The breakfast, staff and location were great.
Will come again but book a room in the main building.
Our room was in an outbuilding which was damp, cold and had a draught. The bed however was very comfortable.

Unfortunately there was a very bad smell coming from the bathroom. We were in no 43, one of the houses!

The location, being able to have breakfast at 06:30, the friendly staff, the room and it was such a relaxing stay; the staff made it relaxing.

The one member of staff was extremely rude.
Normal things like having a shower and using the hair dryer meant that the room steamed up and set the fire alarm off. (No way of opening windows) a staff member accused me of smoking several times and said the steam was smoke… no apology.. would advise they have a lesson in hospitality
Garden was nice but a bit unkempt, crazy golf was a nice touch. Staff seemed approachable and helpful. Towels were big and soft
Room 21 was completely devoid of any comforts , was very barren, bare and extremely basic and very very dated.

Lovely hotel and location. Plenty of parking. The hotel room was large and well equipped. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also exceptional.
