歴史ある建物だったが全体的に明るい雰囲気で気持ちよく過ごせた。幸運にも日本人スタッフに対応して頂けた。
個人的にシャワーは可動式が良い
Fantastic pool area. The water was very warm, but also super clean. The pool is large and the area is very well kept, and clearly designed for guest comfort and ease of use with clean bathrooms connected, dedicated changing areas, fluffy towels, and a nice sauna directly adjacent to the pool. I visited with my young child who was thrilled, and we used the pool a lot. Past reviews of the pool were the reason I selected this hotel and it did not disappoint. I will also say that the hours of the pool are very good, open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. - that gave us plenty of time in our brief overnight stay to enjoy the pool both at night and before checkout. The restaurant on site is also very good! The rooms were super clean in a deep clean way, as was everywhere in the hotel. Overall, the next time we are in PEI we will be sure to stay here again!
My only criticism is that parking was really difficult. There is a small lot behind the hotel that says it's reserved for guests but it did not appear to be actually used that way, at least for what I observed of people coming and going from this lot. Given that the room was $500 a night - probably the most I've ever paid for a hotel - there should be guaranteed parking, and if no on-site parking, clear guidance from the front desk of where would be good for street parking. I ended up driving around for 30 minutes with my 6-year-old looking for parking at 830 at night. This may not be the normal situation, it sounds like there was also a wedding going on. That being said, overnight and guests should be given priority at a hotel parking area.
I don't agree with other reviews I had read prior to booking saying that the hotel is dated. It has a historic charm to it, as you would hope in a great downtown location. Everything appeared to be in working order!
Location is excellent. Staff very accommodating. Well maintained.
We expected an "Executive Double Room with 2 Double Beds" which was the description on Booking.com. The room was so small that you could not move. The chair hit the desk and the end of the bed. No way was it "Executive". The bath room did not have any grab bars for safety. We are seniors and need that safety feature in a bath tub. We left after one night. Otherwise, the hotel was lovely. We would recommend it. The room would have been fine with only a single bed and a fit younger person. The staff was very lovely and assisted us in our early departure.
Beautiful Hotel with amazing location, service, food and beverage. Special features include front patio for dining, and an outdoor balcony on the 5th floor for enjoying beautiful downtown views.
The Personnel
The Bathroom was a joke. The toilet is pressed against the wall on it's side. The shower should have security Bars,
the population is getting older you know.
Quiet and clean rooms with nice beds and friendly service. Located right down town the hotel is within walking distance of all the main shops and boardwalk. If the price is right for you, I would recommend the Rodd.
Close to everything
Nothing
The location, however there was construction in front of the hotel for our entire stay. Did not sit outside on the balcony due to this fact.
Expensive for the quality of the hotel. Has seen better days
Tout
Rien
Smacznego jedzenie w hotelowej restauracji. Dostępność basenu i siłowni. Bliskość do głównej ulicy miasta - punkty usługowe, sklepy, restauracje.
Malutki pokoj i łazienka. Ręczniki nie do końca czyste. Hotel wymaga renowacji (łazienki i pokoje). Śniadania dodatkowo płatne. Wysoka cena.
The room was nice and the restaurant service was amazing. Nice pool to keep the kids busy.
Nothing.
I love staying at the Rodd’s for its location close to Confederation of the Arts, restaurants and just a short walk to the waterfront. It has a Victorian charm and they have renovated it throughout the years. Very clean and has a great restaurant, you can sit on the outdoor balcony and listen to local artist on selected days in the summer while enjoying a drink from the bar. They also have a rooftop patio which has a great view of Charlottetown.
Location was excellent.
Staff was very friendly.
Room was clean.
Food was pretty good but not great.
Bed was small. Need a true Queen.
