Great stay
Pros:

The beds were comfy, the hotel was clean and the staff were great.

Cons:

The parking information given via booking.com was for Q parks only. On arrival (having parked in a Q park) the sign behind reception advocated King's dock multistorey Carmarthen and offered a guest discount which amounted to approximately £19 for 24hrs. This would have suited us better as it was closer and the weather was awful. 🤨

Poor start but rescued by an excellent man on reception. Room and breakfast decent.
Pros:

The first person I tried to book in with was rude and dismissive, and lied, saying I wasn't booked in. When I moved to the second person on the desk, he found my booking straight away, realised that having driven for 4 1/2 bours I was tired and didn't appreciate the very poor attitude of the first person. He upgraded my room and made me a lovely cup of hot chocolate. He really went th eextra mile - was kind polite and helpful, which made all the difference.

Cons:

When I arrived I gave my name to a female at the desk and said I had booked a room. She asked me for my name again, looked at her computer and said I wasn't booked in. I asked her how to get on the internet so I could show her my booking. She ignored me so I used my personal hotspot. I showed her the booking.com confirmation. She asked me for my first name and then said I wasn't booked in. She followed it up by saying I needed to give her the booking number, which I had shown her on the e-mail trail from the hotel.
I therefore tried the other person on the desk - the man I have described above. I showed him the e-mail I had received from the Loenardo hotel, he found my booking straight away. It seems to me unfortunate that he is made to wkr with someone who is so dismissive and contemptuous of guests.

Abgesehen von der Lage gibt es tatsächlich nichts was ich positiv anmerken konnte

Cons:

Meine Bewertung wäre vermutlich nicht halb so schlecht ausgefallen, hätte es sich bei dem Hotel nicht um ein „4-Sterne-Hotel“ gehandelt. Leider war die Ausstattung dafür wirklich miserabel, vor allem im Bad hat man sich nicht wirklich wohlgefühlt. Das Personal war ebenfalls nicht sonderlich freundlich.

Good location, but basic
Pros:

Great location for Liverpool Docks and shopping. Good lobby bar and restaurant.

Cons:

Rooms were pretty basic and not consistent with the standard at other Leonardo hotels. The bathroom was very dated and utilitarian - they looked like something you’d expect at a hostel rather than a hotel. Beds weren’t that comfortable. Also the air conditioning wasn’t adjustable in my room.

Overall. Very happy. Small changes would make a huge difference
Pros:

Location was excellent and staff very friendly. Breakfast was generous and well stocked. Hotel price was good value.

Cons:

Tea facilities at breakfast was poor. Queing for hot water from coffee machine was tedious. Please provide small teapots and seperate hot water supply. Breakfast got cold waiting to make my own tea. Sausages were sour and felt reheated. I told member of staff. She advised she would inform the chef. 15 minutes later they were still not removed and other guests remarked they also tasted sour sausages
