Everything was good except one staff member also Sabrina is awesome
Housekeeping was a bit rude
I went to get coffee prior to the 7am window for breakfast. I went up to look at the menu at the restaurant and the cook screamed at me. Stating they don't open till 7am. Which I knew. I just wanted to see the menu. I went back at 7:10am to grab something to eat prior to getting on the road to drive South. Was simple going to make a bagel and leave. Long drive ahead. The cook screamed at me again that there was a charge. When I checked in, the receptionist stated breakfast. Not once did she say there was a fee. Continental Breakfast $10. No bagel is worth $10!!!!
Location was fine. Lots of parking available.
Booked a king room but was told when I arrived it wasn’t available. Very hot inside. Uncomfortable bed.
Finally a place where the beds and pillows are amazing! Obviously the location even though I didn't get to enjoy the food nearby, but those restaurants are the best!
The price tag did NOT match the outdated room. It wasn't even a busy weekend. I'm from there so I know that it is an older hotel but dang it is pricey. The pool was small and one family with 4 kids and 2 adults took up the whole pool.
Closeness to the Marine base.
I reserved a king room because of medical issues I have, and was given a queen instead. Very upset that I reserved 2 rooms and ended up not needing the second one because we could have all fit in the one queen room. Waste of $550 because you couldn't give me the room I reserved almost 2 months in advance. Also there was black mold surrounding the thermostat on the wall, and water pressure is zero since the water dripped out of the shower head.
Location, pool, and gym

close to MCRD Parris Island for graduation events
The breakfast didn't have a lot of variety. We went to the restaurant across the parking lot.
The only thing I would suggest is some kind of musty smell deodorizer for the air conditioner. I used my antiperspirant spray due to the fact there was a strong musty smell when the air conditioner came on.
The location was good. The room was clean and decent sized.
The beds were terrible. It felt like sleeping in the floor would have been more comfortable. The a/c was not great either.
Staff were amazing!!
The people and the facility was nice maybe outdated. Breakfast wasn't free even when I booked it it said it was it was $10 and the dinner menu was very expensive nothing below $19
The bed was very uncomfortable very hard and the pillows were soft but didn't support our heads. My husband and 1 have back issues his cancer and mine spondylilothesis. We're almost crippled with pain.
Everything
Bed was very hard . They automatically charge your card for “just in case “ you want something from the bar or restaurant.
This should be asked no automatic charge. Some people may not have the funds to cover extra at hotel .
Clean room, close parking
Air conditioner was out downstairs. The pool looks dirty. Beds were a little firm.
The hotel overall is on par with a business class hotel. It has gone through updates and a lot of personnel changes during my 16-year history with it. One item has remained the same, and I always look forward to the experience - a conversation with Kristi. If you are fortunate enough to run into her at breakfast or downstairs, she's just the right emotional impact to start your day!
