Pros:

The hotel and rooms are beautiful. Loved the view. Loved the soak tub. Loved the location.

Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable with unique showers that I haven’t seen before! My room was very quiet and the hotel dining is pleasant.

A great home base to explore the city
Pros:

Staff is delightful! They go above and beyond— I observed several interactions and personally experienced it, too. Unlike in many hotels, the people here seem to enjoy working together and it shows in the guest services.

Cons:

The first room we were assigned had broken electricity and the bathroom was worn down and had no ventilation. Plus the air conditioner could not be adjusted. When we changed rooms it was much better, though the walls are thin and you can hear other guests in the hallway and adjacent rooms.

Guests should be aware that you need to go to reception before accessing the pool.

Funky hotel in the middle of DC
Pros:

A very funky hotel. It is more than obvious that the owners are extremely liberal. There is liberal art throughout the whole hotel. Ruth Bader Ginsburg portraits even in the room, on the pillow. Women's rights statements throughout the hotel.

Cons:

I always had to walk down to get the bus. The next Metro station is like a 10 Minute walk away

I love it here!
Pros:

It was located in a great spot, we were able to get to everything really fast, either by foot, bike or car! You can go in and out as many times you like when you valet! It has many great art pieces depicting strong women and women rights!

Cons:

They should tell you when booking that the rooftop is not open, it only opens at a certain time a year.

Hidden and random charges
Pros:

They have continuously charged my credit card after my stay - even a month after leaving I’m still getting random charges through.

I’ve been unable to speak to anyone about these and no one has been able to clarify what these charges are for.
