Great location for Mariners game Seattle weekend. It was also very close to Pike Street market and all the attractions of downtown
The location of the Hotel is in Seattle right off the Link Pioneer Station. It's perfect coming in from the airport. We needed a car and parking was 75 a day. It was expensive compared to the surrounding parking. We are from Chicago and this is not like our city. It's a little shady honestly. Don't walk alone. We did a college visit to the UW and enjoyed the beautiful architecture of the hotel itself. It's a gem in a trash basket. Quite unfortunate. Magmile would love a hotel like this. We slept well and felt comfortable, intimate and breakfast was fabulous.
The room was big, very clean, and spacious. The front desk staff was very friendly, so polite and professional especially Joel.
My favorite hotel in the PNW! It’s always a lovely stay with great accommodations and lovely hosts. I can’t wait to visit again.
We were gifted our stay from our daughters for Christmas along with tickets to see Candlight Fever featuring Fleetwood Mac. The whole weekend was a lovely experience. The hotel was beautiful and our 10th floor king with walk out terrace was gorgeous.
Excellent Hotel. Came for our anniversary and to attend a venue at the hotel. We were exceptionally pleased with everything. From the hotel to the venue everything was great.
Fantastic location! Literally right across the street from the Link station. Great historical atmosphere, once you get used to the smell lol. It reminds me of grandmother's house. Hotel and room were very clean and the bed and bedding were very comfortable! Love those pillows! Breakfast was good, but average. At least it was free! Some street noise, so bring your earplugs. No microwave but there is a fridge with honor bar. Overall, would definitely stay again.
For those who love old school architecture, ambiance and amenities, the Arctic Club Hotel is my new go-to whenever I'm in Seattle. The front desk staff are welcoming and gracious while remaining professional--they were able to address every question with ease and kindness. Especial shoutout to Cristian and Kaitlin who checked me in and out. Top notch and affordable luxury. Very similar to other vintage hotels like the Peery in Salt Lake City and Gramercy Park Hotel in NYC.
We had a great stay at The Arctic Club! The staff is wonderfully attentive, the bar and overall ambiance of the hotel transports you back to the early 1900s (only thing missing is some live jazz!) Rooms are cozy and comfortable and you can't beat the location for walking anywhere downtown or along the waterfront. Make sure to ask about a tour of the Northern Lights Dome - it's stunning
Disappointed in my stay at the Arctic Club. I am a return traveler and have stayed at this location several times over the years for a business trip in Seattle. I usually feel safe in this location but this year was different. The houseless population has greatly increased in the area around the hotel and you could not walk more than a block without being harassed. Our room faced Cherry St and the yelling and screaming was clearly audible well into the night, despite being on the 6th floor. The front desk person that checked us in seemed bothered that we were there and did not offer the usual cheerful and helpful experience that I am accustomed to here. Our bed was so uncomfortable we hardly slept both nights. The mattress had a divot in the middle that we kept rolling into. The room felt muggy, and when we tried to run the AC unit it was incredibly loud. The free breakfast was mediocre at best. It was mostly prepackaged items from the food distribution truck with some fresh fruit thrown in. A shame for a city that has so much to offer in the way of fresh food. I would have requested a refund but I do not like confrontation and did not want to go through the hassle.
What a pleasant experience! Our room was well furnished and the bed was comfortable. What stood out was that the service was old-fashioned, in very good ways. In particular, there were generally two people staffing the front desk, and they were welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful; also, the no-additional-charge breakfast was awesome, definitely a big step up from the usual hotel breakfast fare. We’d be happy to go there again!
location is great. close to attractions and right next to a link station entrance. Definitely felt like 4 star hotel atmosphere. clean. great service. needed maintenance on tv connection they came quickly and fixed issue. comfy bed/bedding! excellent valet service and front desk. had a corner suite so great views of smith tower and some water view. great full size amenities, in room snacks and fridge drink items. the thermostat worked great! noise level to be expected in downtown environment but wasn’t too bad. the breakfast was great, so many options! i would definitely stay here again.
Top notch service all around…great ambiance, beautiful historical architecture. Amazing specialty martinis. And their valet Merhawi went above and beyond to be helpful with out luggage and gave us door service right to our car.
This was a real gem. From the helpful staff, inviting lounge area, superb drinks and appetizers, charming decor, great breakfasts, to the comfortable room, my wife and I were charmed by the Arctic Club Hotel, topped by its convenient location to the City and the subway.
Overall, this is a beautiful historic hotel in a fantastic downtown Seattle location. The building itself is stunning, and the staff was professional and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the location made it easy to walk to restaurants, the waterfront, and nearby attractions.
However, there were a few significant downsides to our stay.
The most serious issue was valet damage to my vehicle. My truck was significantly damaged while in valet custody, and the valet driver acknowledged hitting a pole when returning the truck. The hotel and valet team have been responsive in initiating a claim, but this was still (and still is) a major inconvenience and negative experience. For $100 a night in valet parking fees, any damage is unacceptable on the hotels behalf (even if the valet/parking is contracted).
Additionally, the in-room HVAC fan made a loud rattling noise throughout the night, sounding like loose metal or debris inside the unit. This made sleeping difficult. The shower was also disappointing — water pressure was weak, and the shower head setup made it take much longer than expected to shower comfortably.
I was also charged a nightly rollaway bed fee that was never explicitly shown or detailed out prior to check in. I requested one (as the room listing said it had room for a rollaway bed) in the notes when booking but never saw a charge or fee associated with it.
The property is elegant and historic, but it’s not especially kid-friendly. Families with young children may find it better suited to adult travel or business stays.
Overall, the hotel has a lot going for it — beautiful architecture, great location, and helpful staff — but the valet damage and room mechanical issues were significant drawbacks during our visit.
We have now stayed twice this month We couldn’t use the tub had to change rooms last time. They did try really hard to make it better and give us a credit at the bar. This time we had zero hot water. Not it was just ok like we used the tea pot to towel off and we had a jacuzzi tub. The hotel is so cute bar service was great. Good was decent but literally no one even cared there was not hot water. We were told it was valentines they were full and an old hotel and they would check with maintenance . We did get a text that there was nothing that could be done but they would comp a bar credit. Who cares ?!? If we hadn’t had a drink we would have driving home. When we talked at the front desk I literally got an eye roll and it was added to a 3 page list of issues
What I do want to acknowledge is for one yes they did discount the room. We were offered to change rooms at midnight but I don’t know how that would help. At breakfast many other people were commenting the same
Never got an apology. Even when we left and got a call no
— I really want to thank Noel and Harri (worried I’m not spelling it right ) we got our valet at 10 am and left. I commented I just wanted to get home it was such an awful night. They both took the time to listen whole heartily apologized made zero excuses and were amazing. It ruined our day having to leave Seattle because we couldn’t even shower but they went above and beyond. The guarantee that they would talk to someone and even offered to comp our parking just because that was something they could do. You need to thank them.
They are the last line of customer service before leaving a very poor experience and although I really did not love our time, they were the only ones that could’ve saved this and you should thank them
This was simply a pathetic experience
We had issues 2 weeks ago and returned because you really tried.
Breakfast was much better but also zero forks no clean tables no fruit no juice but the quality was better and it was super busy. We literally stood at the bar because there were no clean tables should have brought to our room
We book hotels for a tub simply
This was just horrid
The room was adorable bed was so comfy
MUST bring a sound machine 1000% or you will not sleep. We were on the second floor. Ourside our room someone died no kidding got in a fight car crash and just valet wedding noise was bad
Wonderful service, beautiful historical architecture, couldn’t say better things. We will be back. The King Corner room was beyond amazing - it includes a balcony with amazing Seattle views.
I stayed at the Artic Club hotel in Janaury 2026 for three nigths. My stay was clean comfortable and enjoyable. The staff was kind and freindly and always willing to lend a hand if needed. I would like to shout out the folloiwng employyes who went above and beyond. Brittany at the front desk was wondeful she was kind caring and polite. She was sympathetic to the fact my flight was cancelled due to a winter storm back home. She took the time to explan my options if i needed to extend my stay and would be willing to hold my luggage for the day. Her kind demanor help make a bad situation better. At the bar i would like to shout out both Nora and Brad who's knowdlegde of the menu help me pick the perfect drink. There knowlegde of the area was quite helpfull in finding things to do. Both of them were always willing to have a convesation and make it feel less like a bar and if u were at home.
A very enjoyable stay at the Arctic Club Hotel in Seattle! The rooms and hotel are clean and beautiful, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and we loved the location in downtown.
This was our second stay at The Arctic Club and has become our go-to hotel in downtown Seattle. The hotel is a beautifully restored historic property circa (1917). Rooms are comfortable and quiet, staff are friendly, and the bar offers great food and drinks. The complementary breakfast is very good. On-site valet parking with unlimited in/out privileges costs $75. Downtown attractions including Waterfront Park, Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Underground Seattle Tour, and Stadiums are within walking distance. The Pioneer Square Link Light Rail Station is located nearby and connects to SEA as well as the Seattle corridor, and soon Bellevue-Redmond.
