Disappointed and no value for money.
Pros:

It’s a beach front hotel so you get walks on the beach. Grounds were beautiful and the staff was lovely.

Cons:

Old and unkempt rooms. Some basic amenities like a telephone, fridge, slippers ,and kettle were missing. Food options were abysmal, very poor lighting and a lot of worms crawling around everywhere. Warm water was not consistently available. This place is over priced and needs to be renovated to get value for money

Cons:

Im ersten Zimmer war die Toilettenspülung defekt, wir haben ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, wo die Klimaanlage defekt war. In unserem 2 tägigen Aufenthalt sind wir 3x umgezogen.

3 star vibes . Its clear owners not interested in spending money to improve the experience

Pool was the only thing properly maintained , clean and good size.

Cons:

The room incredibly dark , the dining area very sad with dirty and old table cloths . Food and service very ordinary . Very empty .

Non lo consiglierei, anche se lo staff si impegna per migliorare le cose
Pros:

Prima di scrivere qualsiasi recensione chiarisco che abbiamo alloggiato in questa struttura tramite n'associazione di volontari e che l'area di Kilifi è una delle zone più povere del Kenya. Detto ciò i punti a favore sono stati: la pulizia nelle camere, il giardino (meraviglioso) e lo staff ( anche se molto lento nel servire a tavola) ma questo già si sapeva.

Cons:

Cibo al limite e sempre le stesse cose, tovaglie sporche, piscina così così, bagni delle camere da ristrutturare
Spiaggia e mare pieni di alghe, ovviamente non per colpa loro ma un pò di pulizia davanti all'Hotel non avrebbe guastato.
I posti belli di mare del Kenya sono altri, vedi Watamu/Jakaranda Bay ad 1,30 h di auto dalla struttura, oppure a 300 mt dall hotel ci sono dei locali sulla spiaggia (tra cui quello di Sonia) molto carini, dove potete affittare i lettini e dove è possibile fare il bagno.
In parole povere Lodge frequentato dalla gente locale, se volete cibo migliore e spiagge più belle andate nelle località prettamente turistiche

Pros:

Priceless experience of relaxing in the unique garden and pool of the Baobab hotel, under the palm trees and overlooking the Indian Ocean! The food prepared by the chef is also excellent and the service very accomodating and polite!
