Overall enjoyed it a lot!
Pros:

The studio room I booked exceeded my expectations when considering the price. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Reception was also extremely friendly and helpful!

Cons:

The heater didn’t really work so it was quite cold at night and in the morning, and the location (although very convenient) meant that you would be woken up by loud people walking down the alley. Was also woken up by loud neighbours. None of this is the fault of the hotel though, just keep this in mind if you’re a light sleeper like me!

I like staying at YTI and hope to keep coming back.
Pros:

I like the location near to station (relatively) and some really good resturants and coffee. I like the fact that there are cooking facilities and good china and cutlery and ok cooking implements in the room. This is the reason I keep coming back

Cons:

It was super noisy in m room in the evening though it quietened down much later. I had to use ear plugs. The window wouldn't fully close so blocking the sound was tricky. No enough washing up (dishwashing) supplies . I don't think the price should increase so much at weekends - or you should have a loyalty arrangement for frequent stayers!

Great location for a short stay.
Pros:

This is a cheap and cheerful hotel situated in a prime location in the centre of Melbourne, with easy access to public transport, shopping precinct and restaurants.

Cons:

The facilities are basic but clean and comfortable. The desk was a little wobbly and the chair provided was not the right height for this.

Central, comfortable short stay
Pros:

Nice and central location. Easy to access, with reception service available. Staff were helpful and friendly. Had everything needed for our stay.

Cons:

It was quite noisy (lots of street noise) but realise that is outside the control of the hotel.
