If you have a vehicle don’t stay here, 3 vehicles were broken into the night I stayed there

We have stayed here numerous times. Previously the staff has been helpful. This time it was different.

Cons:

We arrived early and our room(that was apparently assigned to us) was the last room to be cleaned. Even though we saw other customers checked in we had to wait 3.5 hours for our room. The room was antiquated. The bed was pretty but the mattress was very uncomfortable. This room needs a refresh.. Shabby chic but more shabby than chic.

Pros:

The location was in the country in a lovely wooded area but convenient as a final stop off before either a flight or ferry back to the UK.
The value for money was excellent and the cost was comparable to a travel lodge but offered 4:star accomodation plus pool/spa facilities.

Cons:

The restaurant was only open 2 days a week so limited to a bar menu.

Our first choice for a hotel by Dublin Airport
Pros:

We have stayed at Roganstown Hotel
and Country Club a few times now. This was our best trip. Grace and Rachel on reception were first class and welcoming. Kitchen specials were delicious, service was quick and there was a nice buzz in the bar. We have already booked our stay in July as well since it’s a quick trip to Dublin Airport. Highly recommended
