Nice and comfortable enough for a short stay
Pros:

Position, great AC. Very friendly staff.

Cons:

Mediocre breakfast for 5 star hotel.
Did not like smell of the hotel in general.
I think it is a cleaning agent they use.
No coffee machine supply in the room!!!

Pros:

L'architecture de l'hôtel. Sa décoration intérieure de très bon goût, assez fidèle au vieux style baroque. Le petit déjeuner fabuleux dans un salle au dernier étage.

Cons:

Les moquettes usées et pas très propres.
Les produits d'accueil de salle de bains étaient plus que minimalistes.
Le nécessaire de repassage était carrément inexistant.
Curieux pour un hôtel de cette catégorie.

weak and not worth the money
Pros:

Location is central and very good. Staff was phenomenal and extremely helpful.

Cons:

The room was at best ok. Dim and old fashioned. I felt I was staying in a mansion from the 60-70s. The property reminds you of hotels in the 80. No updates have been done. Things do not work efficiently. Tow of the outlets in my room did not work and there are no outlets for iPhone,. iPad, or anything modern. My room did not have coffee machine or hot water jug (I had to ask). It also did not have an iron (I had to ask). The mirrors in the elevators are old and you can barely see yourself. If I was the owner, I would invest in updating the property. Finally, the dinning room on the 4 floor reminded me of an old style dinning room. May I dare to say that the Macchiato I had there was one of the worst. Sorry for being this negative but when you pay the rate you expect better value.

Good, but not faboulous.
Pros:

It is la vielle dame, the old lady od Palermo hotel institutions. Its location is fantastic.

Cons:

The hotel needs renovation, its bathrooms are already leaving something to be desired. The use of the gym should be paid additionaly, which is difficult to accept.We like the wallet service, ideal for tourists. Even the breakfast could be improved, the ham was of a mediocre quality, as well as sausages.

Rather disappointing for a 5 star hotel.
Pros:

The room was lovely and exceeded- spacious and clean with a well equipped bathroom. The shower was great too.
We had reflexology in the spa and the lady who did it was amazing - the best reflexology we have ever had.
The staff generally were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The common parts of the hotel are desperately in need of updating. As you enter, the carpet is worn and filthy and does not make a good first impression. The lounge area is old fashioned and feels very unloved and rather sad.
The breakfast room is appalling and like something from the 1970's - the breakfast too was rather disappointing.
We just had the coffee and left to go elsewhere.
