Villa Porta is a hidden gem on Lake Maggiore. Its beautiful lakeside setting in Colmegna makes it a memorable place to stay. The staff were helpful and professional, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. Both the food quality and the service were excellent, and breakfast was a wonderful way to finish an unforgettable stay. A lovely choice for anyone looking for beautiful surroundings, excellent food and warm hospitality.

The location! The hotel is beautiful, right on the lake Maggiore with two restaurants, Botanical garden, boat deck and event space

Cons:

It is a beautiful property with long history, but it misses some refined touches. Staff is not always attentive and consistent.
Disadvantage is that there is no restaurant in walking distance. You need to go by car, the road is too dangerous to walk (tunnels on both sides).
During our stay there were two weddings, beautiful spot for parties

Wir haben uns direkt beim Ankommen super wohl gefühlt. Wunderschönes Hotel mit traumhaftem Garten und Lage direkt am See.
Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, tolles Restaurant mit sehr gutem Frühstück.
