Excellent place
Excellent
We stayed 2-days in a King Ocean view room. The view was amazing. The bed was very comfortable The bathroom was very large with a rain shower head. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. An amazing romantic hotel.
Only one downside, no hot water for the sink or shower. I let the front desk know, but it was not repaired.
Very nice room with ocean view, Huge bathroom. All quite stylish and very well located in the old town. Priced higher than average but very much worth the extra $$.
The property was very clean and the staff friendly! The location was excellent for walking the malecon, going to the beach and restaurants in the historic center! There were a couple nights where there was an event nearby that was extremely loud until about 10pm.
Location is great with awesome views! Walking distance to great restaurants and local shop. The location is probably the best in Mazatlán.
I have stayed at this location several times over the last 10+ years. After the original owners sold the hotel changes were made and corners cut. Now the hotel has lost its luster. Floors not swept during the 3 nights I was there. Fountain in the courtyard torn apart and furniture showing showing signs of ware. Signage taken off the wall and and not replaced or repaired. Ordered a drink to be delivered to pool side and it never showed up. And the hotel does not answer the phone when trying to get in touch with them.
Beautiful intimate property with a great staff. Restaurant was very good.
Allways a nice place to stay!!!
Beautiful rooms, great staff
Property was quiet and staff was friendly and accommodating
We wish that we could have stayed longer than a week. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Restaurant quite good.Would recommend to anyone who prefers a small hotel with personalized service.
I enjoyed my stay at Casa Lucila for the second time. However, I was very disappointed with the fact that they refused to honor the $25 dining credit I was supposed to receive as a silver member when I booked the room with hotels.com. I wish I would have known this before I had my breakfast and had to pay for an additional charge.
The property did not honor upgrade option, said I need to contact Expedia to get the room upgrade.
Nice little boutique hotel located close to the Old Town and right across from the Malcom. The staff was very friendly and the cleaning crew did a good job of making the bed and providing us towels each day. The restaurant is quite good. That's kind of where the positive stuff stops. For multiple days and multiple hours each day there was a jackhammer being used on property. Pretty much made it impossible to relax in your room or at the pool due to the noise. One morning they were setting up for a large crowd for lunch and started moving chairs and tables at sunrise - roughly 6:00 a.m. Some quick background -The rooms at the property are located around a central courtyard . When they were moving the furniture and hollering at each other, it certainly became impossible to sleep. They don't seem to have a lot of respect for the fact that they have people staying in the rooms. A couple of other things you should be aware of - they do have a pool but it's the size of a large jacuzzi with only six lounge chairs. There are no real good public spaces to sit and relax and the rooms pretty much have a bed and the necessaries. There's no where's good to sit in the rooms either.
This is listed as a four-star property but I wouldn't give it anything more than three stars.
I would definitely recommend and come again. I am so thankful for the staff they are definitely dedicated and made my stay very enjoyable.
