The breakfast buffet was very good. The A/C in the room worked very well.
Nice hotel in a good location
It was a great location very close to attractions and restaurant was really good.
Our t.v had bad cable connection kept going in and out about every 20-30 seconds couldn’t watch a full tv show. No microwave in room. Did not like the fact we had to pay for parking garage daily. For the price I had to pay it wasn’t worth it.

The hotel is old. Staff customer service was okay.
The property is in a good location, the rooms were large and clean. The hotel is just pretty old. The ceilings are low, it’s dark, the colors are brown, and it just comes across as needing an update. Staff was great very friendly.
The property is super close to the highway so you have highway noise, sirens, all day and night. It lightens up in the night but always there. The hotel is dark and comes across as outdated. The hotel gym was small, dark with low ceilings and not a place I wanted to spend time in. I went outside for a walk instead.

A little run down and somewhat dirty
The location is in a cool neighbourhood but it’s right on the noisy highway
Elevators not working causing long waits. Older property in need of a refurb- flickering lights in room, doors no longer able to be closed internally, lumpy old pillows
The area, it was close to Fulton market. The gym was pretty good and they cleaned our room each day.
The beds were too soft. We had 4 people in a twin room and we always had to ask for extra towels since they only gave us 2

The hallways in the elevator smelled like marijuana for no smoking hotel. He sure smelled marijuana a lot, and we don’t like that smell.

Good location and the king suite set up was ideal for my family. Staff were very welcoming and even my dog felt welcome. Facilities were clean
Crowne Plaza: Proof that “Crowne” is just a fancy spelling and not an actual upgrade.
Don’t let the name fool you. “Crowne” does not mean crown. It does not mean regal. It does not mean nicer. It just means someone in marketing thought an extra “e” would make the 1980s carpet feel more prestigious.
The room was a masterclass in dated disappointment. The carpet hasn’t been touched since shoulder pads were cool and it shows - loud, tired, and somehow still collecting regrets. Chunks were missing from the bottom of the door like the room itself tried to leave and only made it halfway. The balcony was there in spirit (and in concrete), but chairs were apparently optional. You can stand outside and reflect on your life choices, but you can’t sit down to do it.
The bathroom rounded things out with a few mystery hairs that were definitely not mine and felt like they’d been there longer than the wallpaper. Everything had that special sticky-dusty energy of a place that stopped trying sometime around the Reagan administration.
I’ve stayed in older hotels that still felt cared for. This one felt both ancient and neglected at the same time - an impressive, if unintentional, achievement.
So no, Crowne does not mean crown. It just means you should keep driving.
