Unexpected challenge related to paying for breakfast that was included in Booking.com reservation. The additional purchase was not visible to hotel staff and we had to cover food on the 1st day. Hotel mgmt asked for proof of purchase of meals for following day. Res confirmation clearly stated meals were part of the room rate. 3rd party booking created more hassle than we had expected.
room was spacious - with a balcony and the location is prime!
I wish it had a pool :)
Good location, rooms clean, friendly staff. Good breakfasts
Tiana was great. I was so relieved to have a helpful smiling face greet me. Will stay again.
Regina, Regina, Regina! From check in to every time help was needed or an interaction with her was had she was professional and courteous. Even when I expressed the bad service from a staff who was working the night shift Vernell, I believe was his name, she was shocked and appalled informed me of him being a manager and apologized for his lack of professionalism. Miguel came to deliver the services that Vernell refused when he abruptly hung the phone up while I was asking him for fresh towels. Miguel warm smile and politeness made the interaction with Vernell slightly fade. Ms. Regina deserves a raise and promotion, she was always moving and assisting Guest each time I seen her, which was often as I wash in and out periodically. Her compliments on my hair on a bad hair day made my day as well, lol. Miguels quick response time, professionalism and empathy need to be recognized as well. This is the type of employee's is who I'd like to interact with when I'm checking into a hotel. Even the breakfast staff was pleasant and food was awesomely prepared.
Nice hotel

Regina at the front desk was amazing, she went above and beyond for my reservation and made sure all my request were handled seamlessly. God bless her
I had the distinct pleasure of interacting with Regina during my check-in experience. I arrived not having reservations and I was stressed. It was also the holiday weekend so the city was quite busy. That woman calmed my nerves. She was pleasant and she took her time to find me the best accommodations for me and took extra steps that went above and beyond. If this is the type of people that they hire, this is the poster child for excellence. Customer service is not dead. In fact, Regina is an example of what customer service should be. I tipped my hat applaud you for your kindness and your professionalism. If there is an employee of the month it should be Regina. 🤗
Best part about the trip was Regina at the front desk front making sure everything ran smoothly for my lady’s birthday
Close to everything.
No smoking area & no security patrolling just outside doors for smokers, especially late at night & limited cameras.
Our reservation was cancelled without our knowledge. We learned when we arrived.
The first reason given was "inventory issues". The second reason given was that I failed to call by 3pm to update my credit card info (which I had, by 1030am).
Rude, dismissive staff at the fromt desk.
We were only staying one night, en route to another destination. We ended up driving 3 more hours then originally planned and scrambled to find a place to stay at 1030pm on the way.
Avoid this place.
I had no problems with my staying everyone was pretty nice. When I got there Regina was very helpful and nice she made my boyfriend and I feel very welcome. It was a great experience
West Loop is a nice neighborhood but make sure your room is not facing the highway - it's incredibly loud.
The hotel is severely outdated and incredibly loud due to highway proximity, but our primary issue is the highly unprofessional staff and a completely botched room booking.
Room Downgrade: Upon a late night check in, staff informed us our booked twin room (two beds) was unavailable. Instead, we were placed in a room with a pull-out sofa and one bed. Though labeled a "suite," it forced one of us to make our own bed and sleep on a sofa mattress.
Poor Communication & Room Forfeiture: The next morning, the front desk called to say our twin room was ready. Because we were still sleeping, we were going to check in with the front desk later that morning. We were never warned of a time limit, yet when we went downstairs with our belongings, staff informed us they had given our room away.
Displacement & Lack of Communication: Within 12 hours, we went from the wrong room type to no room at all and were forced to put our luggage in storage. Staff promised to call us the moment a room opened up. Instead, they left us entirely without updates for over 7 hours (from 10:30 AM to past 6:00 PM). We only discovered a room was finally available when we returned to the hotel that evening.
Unprofessional Staff: Throughout this ordeal, the front desk was rude, impatient, and treated us like a nuisance rather than guests experiencing a hotel-caused error. Breakfast vouchers did not make up for this treatment.
Lack of Accountability: Booking.com attempted to contact the hotel on our behalf to cancel the remainder of our stay, but the front desk never picked up their phone calls or respond to emails.
Good location.
Most of the front desk staff was very nice and professional. One was not. Will not mention name but was talked to very rudely and unprofessional. Will not be staying here again. Bathroom was not clean but rest of room was. Waited for 3 hours to get into our room after check in time.
