Very very noisy aircon/heat unit. The one in my first room was so loud I had to swap rooms, the second room was slightly better but still very noisy. Others attending the same conference, who also stayed at Rydges commented they had the same problem with the units in their rooms. The shower was very erratic - turning hot/cold/hot/cold without me touching the mixer at all. Almost burnt myself once! Room Service was terrible. I ordered 2 sides for a late dinner - steak fries and a side salad. One hour 10 mins later my food still had not arrived - and as it was 9 pm I cancelled. Very disappointed with this hotel.
Good location
Asking for quiet room but still had a room very close to the lift. The facility is quite old, can hear the wind at night.

Room is definitely ageing and it shows. Main thing is bathroom door had mould on it. Needs to be cleaned.
