Perfect location
Pros:

Perfect location and had a great area for relaxing downstairs and outside. Access to the car park was brilliant and 4 electric charging points as well!

Cons:

I don’t know why the duvets are so small for a double bed with 2 people!!!
The cleaning staff/bar staff and breakfast staff were really helpful, very friendly and engaging. Unfortunately the reception staff were not. They are the face of the group and definitely don’t represent it!! Hardly engaged with us and the lady that checked is in was quite moody and quite short with me. Wasn’t a pleasant experience unfortunately. When we checked out I believe it was the manager who was present and she did apologise but nevertheless the front facing team should be friendly and it doesn’t take much to smile!!

Will definately be staying there again
Pros:

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions over four years. It never lets us down. The staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and the facilities are good. A great breakfast choice, is a good start to the day.

Good locale.
Pros:

Good location overlooking the lock. Executive room was a good size. Complimentary drinks in mini bar. Balcony rooms are nice.
Staff were nice and tried to help when things were not right.

Cons:

One of our rooms smelled bad. The window to the balcony had something spilled on it and it wasn’t nice. Someone did come to clean it off. But there was a general smell in the room.
We had travelled for a long time and wanted a little rest before we went out but the hotel were changing their conference rooms around, and the noise was deafening. Even the duty manager thought it was bad.
If you can, ask for a room higher up in the hotel. We were on 1st floor and the noise was quite bad. Staff were nice and tried to help.
