Great staff and surroundings but hotel in need of some modernising
Pros:

Staff. Isaac on reception was always smiling and happy to help.

Cons:

Bit grubby. Obviously cleaned but needs a bit of a spruce up. Carpet stained. Only one lift working which was annoying at busy times. Also mixer tap in my bathroom broken so water came out when trying to run a bath.

Good location, felt relaxed and easy to get to central London, in about 45mins.

It was pretty good, we stayed as a family, very welcoming to us and the kids bed was also comfortable

Great selection of coffees and drinks at the bar.
The bed was comfy we had a good sleep
The parking is £17 for 24hrs which is reasonable

Cons:

Some areas of the room could of been cleaner especially the bedframes and headboard but it was ok

Nice hotel in a good location
Pros:

The staff were friendly and although we had to pay for parking it was available at a reasonable cost. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. there was good access to nearby river walk and restaurants. overall very happy with our stay.

Das Restaurantpersonal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an herzlich willkommen.

Cons:

Der erste Eindruck beim Check-in und auch beim Check-out war leider nicht besonders gut. Beide Male wurden wir von derselben Dame bedient. Sie hat weder gelächelt noch freundlich gewirkt, weshalb wir uns leider nicht wirklich willkommen gefühlt haben. Schade, denn ein freundlicher Empfang und Abschied machen für uns einen großen Unterschied.

Lovely visit. Excellent service :)
Pros:

We were staying for just a night to attend an event at the nearby Musical Museum. Issac checked us in very professionally and kindly stated our room was ready even though we were a little early. Room was very clean and the linens were fresh and of a good quality. We had a little balcony overlooking the lock which was nice to sit out on in the sunshine.
Stand out element of the stay was the service from Mark in the bar. It was a busy evening, with what seemed like an entire airline crew landing - but Mark was convivial, knowledgable and polite. He took time to speak to all the guests warmly. Two elderly gents who didn't speak English as a first language needed help, and although busy he was super caring and gentle and got them all the things they wanted. What a professional fellow. Just wanted to let him know his efforts were not unnoticed.
