Clean and comfortable stay with convenient access to the Marine Tours.
Pros:

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Free onsite parking. Guest laundry facilities were very useful. Room was also very spacious which was great with two large suitcases to open. Direct access to Marine Tours.

Cons:

Only 5 of the 50 TV channels worked and the TV couldn’t be connected to the internet to use YouTube etc, so there were very limited entertainment options at night in the hotel room.

Staff acted like they didn't want to be bothered. When I asked about walking to the cruise terminal, they should have told me about the free shuttle. Instead we wasted time and effort walking there for nothing.

Pros:

The marina location was great and we stayed in one of the newer rooms.

Cons:

Parking was a challenge. The breakfast was awful. The front desk staff were inept. The one elevator is always jammed and the stairwell was at the other end of the building. The lobby is a nightmare every morning due to boat tours leaving. Oddly the art in our room was hung way too high.

Convenient if you are taking a cruise. Stay in downtown Seward if you want quiet and simple
Pros:

Nice room with a balcony to the harbor in a new addition to the hotel.

Cons:

The location was good although very very crowded as it shared the location for the harbor cruises and the chaos that occurred around the day was almost unbearable. The room was brand new and had virtually no useable outlets, which seemed quite strange for a new build. The alarm clock was not reset from the last guest that stayed there and went off at about 4:00 AM. Internet was not free -- only available by pay -- which given the cost of the room was unacceptable, so I used my cell hotspot instead. Breakfast was not adequate -- hotel staff came in and took the remaining hot food for themselves by "butting in" and taking the remaining food while I was standing in front of the grille with the omelets and bacon leaving me with nothing.

Good location, but pricy for what you get.
Pros:

Nice room view. Clean linens and generally clean facility. Good location for Kenai Fjords boat tours.

Cons:

Morning buffet lacked fruit and enough coffee. Just one attendent as people poured in. You really need a bigger space. I realize you can charge a premium for location. But for my $460 room, it would be nice to have a great, not just a barely acceptable, breakfast.
