Tv didn’t work properly
Brilliant location to amenities and happy with the room facilities.
Room had staining on the carpet and no air con in breakfast area.
Quiet hotel room, super efficient air-conditioning, very comfy bed. Hotel a 5 min walk from a park with a huge lake full of swans, very scenic walk to town centre that route. Quickest walking route to Quay about 20 mins, still very do-able. Extremely helpful hotel staff. We would definitely stay here again.
TV reception a bit up and down, digital channels kept showing wavy lines and distortion.
Clean & quiet. Staff was great, air con was leaking they brought towels up & offered free drinks, until it fixed itself.
The TV signal didnt work, so didnt put TV on.
Having to pay an extra £10 for parking and the ants over the jam at breakfast..

Room.very noisy due to roof of conservatory expanding in heat and contracting at night. Very unusual the manager tells me BUT we never have heat like that. Second night no prob as cooled and rained.

I have travelled extensively for work and leisure. I have stayed in a variety of hotels.
This hotel is extremely tired.
The price was extortionate as it was a last-minute booking due to flight cancellation. No other hotels were available. The standard of the accommodation did not justify the price.
Unfortunately, the staff were not very helpful, which wasn't helped by their lack of English. The receptionist asked for our credit card when they actually wanted the booking reference.
The rooms are clean, but as they are very tired still look dirty. The bathroom door had serious water damage. The chrome on the tap and plug had peeled off. There was black mold on the shower grout. The shower head only pointed horizontally and could not be directed downwards. No plug near the mirror, so my wife could not use her straighteners. The only sockets were across the room, nowhere near the mirror.

The mattress sagged so badly that when we laid on the bed, we both felt like we would roll off the edge, even though we were nowhere near the edges.
The TV didn't work and was unwatchable. The whole hotel TV system had a problem and the staff could not fix it. This wouldn't have been such a problem if something had worked (could not stream from phone to TV) or the hotel was nearer to town or England was not playing a World Cup match that evening!
Breakfast was very limited and not inviting. No one was there at the greeting point, and the staff nearby did not even acknowledge us standing there, including the receptionist. No one was available to assist me with my pre-advised dietary requirements. Only paper cups for tea and coffee. Wheat cereals were put in the Gluten Free container! Food was not refilled unless requested. Fresh pastries were stale and dry. Orange juice was not juice. More like water, very weak and tasted disgusting. Did not resemble anything like an orange flavour.
Very disappointed. We will never stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone. I've never given a review like this before.

Ant invasion on the buffet table. Very bad scrambled egg. Poor breakfast option.
