Holiday Inn Express & Suites Asheville Downtown by IHG

This is my second stay at this location. The staff is always friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and updated and the breakfast buffet is a nice bonus.

Nothing. They would not allow us to stay there. We booked for a local family who needed a place to stay for two nights due to an emergency plumbing issue and they REFUSED to honor the booking AFTER we arrived. Shane on you Holiday Inn. Will NEVER book a Holiday Inn or affiliated hotel again. And Booking.com should make policies like that clear when booking.

Wonderful place to stay. The pool was an excellent addition and in great condition with awesome heated jets putting out a nice warmth to stand next to in the already warm clean water. The rooms were perfect with plenty of channels to choose from on the tv. The fridge and microwave were also a nice inclusion. Staff was extremely friendly no matter what time of day we were up. Morning breakfast was perfect with egg options, sausage options (turkey and beef) and pancakes made in less than a minute with the push of a button. Plenty of toppings as well to choose from. What a perfect stay!!

I was traveling to Asheville to visit family and stayed here for a few nights. I was checked in early by Layla who helped guide me and my family to good places to eat that they didn't even know about! She was so kind and saw her again at check out. I had some concerns about my cost for the room but she explained everything so well and helped me feel reassured about it all. Housekeeping were wonderful as well, always keeping everything so clean!
This will be my go to place!

I honestly can't say enough good things about this Holiday Inn. From the
moment we arrived until the time we checked out, our entire experience
exceeded every expectation we had. For a weekend stay at the price we paid,
I expected a nice, comfortable hotel-but what we received was so much more.

The hotel itself is beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally well maintained.
Even though it's a large property with so many guests coming and going, I
was amazed that they remembered my family. That level of genuine hospitality
is rare, and it immediately made us feel welcome.

The biggest reason our stay was so memorable, though, was Layla. She is
everything that anyone working in customer service should strive to be. She
was attentive, warm, personable, and truly invested in making sure we had a
great experience. She checked in with us the following day to make sure
everything was going well, something that may seem small but made a huge
impression because it showed she genuinely cared.

What stood out even more was how wonderful she was with our kids. She
answered all of their questions with patience and kindness-when they had to
work up the courage to ask them-and helped us discover fun things to do
around Asheville that our whole family enjoyed. She treated us like people
instead of just another room number, and that's something you simply don't
forget.

Management should absolutely recognize Layla for the incredible job she
does. Employees like her are the reason guests become repeat customers. She
made what was supposed to be just a simple weekend getaway feel special,
personal, and memorable.

Naomi also deserves recognition. Whoever scheduled Layla and Naomi together
knew exactly what they were doing. They make an incredible
team-professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to
making guests feel taken care of. They worked seamlessly together and
created an atmosphere where you never had to worry about a thing.

We'll absolutely be returning to this Holiday Inn because of the experience
they created for our family. If Layla and Naomi are any indication of how
this property is managed, then I have complete confidence that they'll
always do everything they can to make your stay exceptional and resolve any
issues should they ever arise.

If you're considering staying here, don't hesitate. You can expect a
beautiful hotel, outstanding hospitality, and a truly worry-free stay. Thank
you, Layla and Naomi, for making our family feel so welcome. You turned an
ordinary weekend into one we'll remember for a long time.

We recently stayed at the hotel and it was an amazing stay. And Layla at the front desk gave us an amazing service, making our stay even better. I can not recommend this hotel enough!

Recently had an unplanned hospital related stay in Asheville. Holiday Inn Express was a dependable choice as always. Perfect room, well cleaned and very quiet. A perfect stay with one exception: No cinnamon rolls! Those are the breakfast treat that I look forward to with this brand, and it is a brand standard across the brand. This is the first time I have been to a Holiday Inn Express that did not have the standard breakfast cinnamon rolls. I sure missed those with my morning coffee. But breakfast sweets aside, this was an otherwise perfect stay.

Everything was great except for the pool was dirty, couldn't see the floor couldn't see the stairs.That's how white and cloudy.It was it was things floating in the pool that shouldn't have been in there.There was a lot of hair, just hair all over the pool , the shower in the pool was broke
