Good quality rooms and decor. Large outdoor pool.

Cons:

Concierge very pushy at check in, took 15 mins for us to check in due to being upsold and pressured to upgrade our room at large extra cost. Even when turning down one offer we were kept waiting and offered another extra cost upgrade. I understand it’s a business, but in a nice hotel like Intercontinental it feels a bit too pushy. I know what I’ve booked and at what price, I don’t want to be pressured to upgrade at check in. Not a very 5 star customer experience.
