Our experience was exceptional thanks to the professional, attentive, and gracious service provided by Hasna and her team. She stands out as a people-first host with keen insights about her guests what they value, and delivers for them fluidly. An absolute pleasure to interact with her!
Great location. It is a beautiful hotel well-maintained. The room was well appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. Love the big soaking bath tub. Bruni Reid the transient sales manager was very kind and welcoming. Staff “Eric” in the club room was wonderful. $49 a night for parking was ridiculous. The hostess at the breakfast restaurant was rude. But all in all we enjoyed our stay.
Very comfortable room
Very hospitable staff
I am in love with this hotel!! This is our second visit and it didn’t disappoint. The location is perfect for the picky eater and shopaholic! The room is clean, comfortable and sexy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. This will always be our hotel of choice when we come to town; if we’re not boarding with friends and family.
Spent the afternoon with a friend at the spa at InterContinental Buckhead. The atmosphere was so relaxing. Spent some quiet time in their relaxation room enjoying cucumber infused water before the massage. I selected the 90 minute Swedish massage. My provider, Junie, was wonderful. She talked with me prior to the service to tailor my massage. I chose a floral essential oil which was lovely. Junie focused on my shoulders and back with just the right pressure. So relaxing and restorative and a great way to spoil yourself.
This reiew is based upon this hotel being a 5 star hotel. The expectations are highter because I selected the hotel for a premium experience. First the good. The lobby is nice and the bathroom is definitely 5 star quality. Also, the outdoor pool looks very nice. Now the bad. The bed gave my wife I both a back ache from the bed. We were given a card for $20 off the restaurant Sounds nice right? But that gets you some toast. or $15 at the spa. I doubt anything is $15 at the spa. The tv is angled on the side wall away from the bed pointing straight ahead. And the credenza is filled with high priced snacks. The refrigerator is filled with overpriced mini bottles of liquor. I feel ass if I have a convenience store under my tv. Coffee machine is Keurig. It could have been upgraded to a espresso machine. Acceptable for a 3 star, but one would expect more from a 5 star. Parking is $49 a night. Called ahead and found out they have a free EV charger in the parking garage. Here is the catch. I arrive and find out it is only free for 2 hours and it is a slow charging EV charger. So putting all of these things combined cause friction in my trip. That is the opposite of what you expect from a 5 star hotel. If it was a lower star hotel the rating would be higher. As it is they should live up to their claim of being 5 stars, which they do not.
Poor service. Worst IHG experience we have had so far. Calls to front desk , kitchen or concierge were never answered. Valet lost our keys. Waited 1.5 hrs for room service and then order was incorrect, cleaning staff did not clean the room. Poor experience overall.
We loved the room! Everything was very well clean and even the whole hotel was nice! The workers there was all nice and friendly! Anyone that’s a adult that wants a nice get away it the right place to stay!
The only thing that brought a sad face to me and my husband was the fact that we paid $600 for the club lauge and come on! They literally had finger foods that you could get from Walmart for wayyy less than that my husband an I was excepting a way better snack bar for the kids and my son did not like the chips bc those was not real chips we talkin like Doritos or Cheetos and when my kids got hungry they didn’t serve snacks all day for the kids it was only for like 2 hours and then they put it all up so think about it… 2 hours for a snack lounge for kids and yall only had ham and fruits nothing for the kids to really snack on that food snack was mostly made for adults not kids so I felt that $600 was a wayyy rip off!
Nice location and beautiful hotel, however service outside of the restaurant was not great at all. In-room dining orders were always wrong and no one ever answered the phone at the front desk.
Everything was just great! I liked to be checked by text messages and immediatly address when we had a concern or question!
Pretty disappointed to be honest. Checked in at 9:30pm and there was no room service or open restaurants on premise. Also the room fridge which had drinks doesn't automatically open. The concierge never picked up the phone and it took me calling maintenance 4 times and over an hour for someone to finally come to my room to open the fridge. While everyone was kind, the service did not represent a 5 star experience.
Professional
Careful driver
Clean beautiful car
Very service oriented
This is my 3rd time or so staying at this property. The service and staff has always been amazing. The hotel is a bit on the older side, but you can tell that maintenance is a priority.
The lounge at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta was top notch —from the convenience of being able to grab a quick breakfast before the day started or having a calm, quiet spot to work and recharge. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the hospitality. Timothy took such great care of me during my 3-night stay and made it feel genuinely welcoming, not just transactional. Service like that is rare.
All the staff were so nice and welcoming. Definitely makes a difference working in customer service. Sadly not always a common experience.
Wonderful room. Friendly services at main desk, pool spa and valet staff. Complementary nearby transportation.
I've been to many, many conference hotels over the years, and the Intercontinental Buckhead was one of the best. My room was clean and functional, the meeting rooms worked well and the breakfast and lunch buffets were very good for conference food.
My friend and I had a staycation at the hotel and indulged in all the offerings - spa and dinner at the restaurant. The spa experience is by far one of the top reasons that keeps me coming back to the IC Buckhead. The spa manager was kind and helpful and my masseuse David was calming, relaxing and phenomenal!
Preston at the front desk was eloquent and thorough throughout the check-in process. The valet team was attentive and welcoming. The room view was Peachtree street facing, but not intrusive. The room was spotless! Thank you for making this birthday staycation even better than I’d expected.
