Communication with the property owner was top tier! Location was perfect. Close to everything either walking distance or with the golf cart. Everything was clean upon arrival.
Outdated but it wasn’t a deal breaker. I’d stay there every time I go Belize!
location with sea view was amazing - we had breakfast and/or lunch on the balcony and we were amazed every single day. The apartment was very well equipped, kitchen has everything and we got even 2 gallons of water included. Location is safe, close to the restaurants on the sea and directly close to a diving shop (which we also recommend). Smell of seaweed wasn't that strong on our balcony as we were staying not that close to the shore and maybe because we were on the upper floor. Emmanuel was an amazing host, always up for a chat, super helpful and even arranged a pick up from the ferry terminal.
Nothing with regards to the accommodation itself but probably some things to be aware before booking. First, the seaweed topic is a real issue - if you are sensitive to smell san pedro might not be the best location for you. Since it's an island everything is imported so it's very pricey, even food groceries were very expensive (if you don't want to eat noodle soup every day). Accommodation is part of a residence, which is owned by or rented mostly to US travellers - unfortunately we were not very lucky with our co-guests who were very loud, rude and disrespectful of other people. Lastly, there are very limited areas where swimming was allowed and enjoyable (secret beach is a bumpy 45min car ride from the accommodation) - if you are looking for a beach experience probably the island is not for you. We chose the location for quick access to diving, so were ok with that.
Location
The staff were all exceptional. We interfaced mostly with Emanuel, and he was so responsive and attentive. Very easy to communicate with on WhatsApp. Grounds crew, security, and housekeeping were also very present & friendly. The property is in a good location as a base for exploring San Pedro. Easy to walk and navigate around. The dock right out the gate was also wonderful for swimming and snorkeling.
Definitely recommend Cool Beans Breakfast Cafe, Red Ginger Restaurant, and Secret Beach Boat Shuttle.

Stayed here for 5 nights and it was a great location, walking distance to everything in town. Everything in the room worked great. Emmanuel was an exceptional host and responded very quickly for anything I needed. I would def recommend staying here for your visit in San Pedro!
Location was great and the unit was clean and easy to live in. Loved being close to downtown to walk to restaurants.
I liked pretty much everything.
The property was very clean and located right near to the Caribbean Sea. We were walking distance to many excellent restaurants/bars, dive/snorkle tours, grocery, bakery, fruit stand, etc. Eg. the Palapa.
However; I would recommend getting a Golf cart for transportation around the island. Emanuel was an excellent property manager, he catered to all of our needs. Our suite was cleaned every 2nd day and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be back!!

We loved our stay at Tradewinds Paradise Villas in Unit 23 oceanfront! The grounds were beautifully maintained and gave such a relaxing island feel from the moment we arrived. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed while still keeping that authentic island charm.
A huge thank you to Emmanuel, our property manager, who took great care of us during our stay and was an excellent local contact for recommendations and help whenever needed.
The location was perfect. We had a golf cart, but we could also easily walk to many great restaurants, coffee shops, markets, and bars. One of the biggest highlights for me was being so close to several dive shops, which made our diving adventures very convenient.
We had a great experience and can’t wait to return!
Can think of very few things, didn’t love the bed the first night but I ended up sleeping great with the heat pumps and blackout curtains

L’établissement est bien situé et près des bons restaurants. Emmanuel est extrêmement gentil et offre un excellent service. Malheureusement les sargasses étaient présentes sur ce côté de l’île. En louant un cart de golf cela nous a permis d’aller à Secret Beach 3 jours pour profiter de la mer sans sargasses
