Honestly, as experienced travellers, don't bother
Pros:

The room was tidy, clean, and spacious. Toiletries provided were nice. Reception staff were nice, friendly and generally helpful.

Though I didn't sleep too well my partner did. The
Bed though was big and generally comfortable. Curtains and blinds did well to keep the light out.

Location is good. We normally stay in the area as it's an easy walk to Soho and Carnaby but also some lovely parks close by which we enjoy.

Buses and train routes are also located nearby.

Cons:

Communication via booking system was wrong. Responses were not helpful at all.

Breakfast was included at booking, however when we went to have breakfast we were told rather rudely that we dont have breakfast included. Reception cleared that up.

We found the breakfast team rather rude and unhelpful. The booking didn't clarify what we had, turned out it was continental breakfast. Quite frankly, the options were not nice at all and considering we played slightly more, it really wasn't worth it. I'd go one further and say it was the worst breakfast I've ever had in a hotel in London, that includes staying in two star hotels.

We had to enquire about toast, this wasn't freely given or offered. Coffee was disgusting, fruit not very nice, and the rest of the options substandard. Toast when given wasn't properly cooked.

Our room was opposite the office, not ideal at all. Considering this was a genius upgrade that can be considered as the worst upgrade ever. All we could hear was talking outside the room. Booking.com really let us down here

There are clearly better rooms and we had the worst for the location in the hotel.. The room as mentioned was generally positive however.

There is no way this is a four star hotel. We were desperate for accommodation and if we had more options we really wouldn't have stayed here. The price was extortionate for poor service, options, and experience. I consider them as crooks for the prices they charge for what is on offer, even Fagin would be impressed.

I would like to know if it is officially a four star hotel or just self-proclaimed four stars.

I think it comes down to who runs the hotels and their ethics when it comes to good customer service and options available.

Pros:

It was an agreeable experience, staff extremely polite, friendly and professional. Delicious breakfast!Nice large room with high ceiling, with a good size bathroom.

Cons:

Bed was a bit hard - needed a topper.
Running water for the bath was very slow coming out of the tap.

Muy buen hotel para una noche
Pros:

Me dieron una habitación para 4 personas, así que estuve muy cómoda la noche que me quedé en el hotel. Me guardaron las valijas hasta las 16 ya luego del check-out. El personal fue muy amable. El desayuno era excelente, muy completo, con variedad de frutas, fiambres, yogurth, quesos. También valore mucho que contaran con ascensor. La ubicación también es buena.

Cons:

La ventana de la habitación daba a algún lugar interno, con una pared, así que si hubiera necesitado luz natural habría sido complicado.

Buena ubicación, pero necesita una renovación y más mantenimiento
Pros:

Lo mejor del hotel es la ubicación, muy buena para moverse por Londres, y el trato del personal, que fue correcto y amable. La habitación, aunque bastante pequeña, tenía lo básico y contaba con caja fuerte, hervidor y algunas comodidades. La alfombrilla antideslizante de la bañera también es un detalle útil, aunque en este caso casi imprescindible por lo mucho que resbalaba

Cons:

Pagamos unos 578 € por dos personas y cuatro noches y, por ese precio, esperaba bastante más. El principal problema es el estado general de mantenimiento y limpieza de la habitación.

La habitación era bastante pequeña, aunque eso por sí solo no habría sido un gran inconveniente. Lo peor era la sensación de deterioro: el suelo se notaba muy inestable en algunas zonas, hasta el punto de dar la impresión de que podías acabar en la planta de abajo. El papel pintado estaba roto y manchado en varios puntos, había desperfectos en paredes, marcos y techo, y en general todo necesitaba una renovación.

La cama tampoco era una cama convencional: estaba apoyada sobre una estructura/bloque de madera y la zona del cabecero era dura, más parecida al respaldo de un sofá. La habitación ni siquiera tenía algo tan básico como papel y bolígrafo. La puerta tampoco disponía de pestillo interior, algo que no transmite demasiada tranquilidad.

El aire acondicionado no funcionaba correctamente y escuchamos a otros huéspedes comentar exactamente el mismo problema en su habitación.

El baño estaba todavía peor. La puerta presentaba muchos golpes y desperfectos. La bañera/ducha resbalaba muchísimo y te proporcionan una alfombrilla antideslizante, que se agradece, pero deja bastante clara la situación. El desagüe estaba roto y además tragaba muy mal, por lo que el agua se acumulaba. Conseguir agua caliente también podía llevar bastante tiempo.

En general, el nivel de limpieza era mejorable y el conjunto transmite falta de mantenimiento. Con una ubicación tan buena y un personal agradable, es una pena que el estado de las habitaciones baje tanto la experiencia. Por 578 € cuatro noches, la relación calidad-precio me pareció bastante floja.

L'emplacement au ctre de Londres. Juste a côté du British Museum.

Les chambres du RDC sont bruyantes et vieillottes. Les SDB ont besoin d'être refaites.
Le personnel à dû oublier qu'il y avait des chambres pour parler aussi fort le matin.
Petit déjeuner pas si copieux que se qui est dit.

Grateful it was only a one night stay

The photos of the hotel and the actual hotel presently do not compare. Definitely disappointing. The hotel is shabby.

Cons:

They had a problem with the iPad when we were trying to sign in, I had to process my credit card several times because the machine is so inadequate. And the night staff left much to be desired for Customer Service. The bed was hard.
The one good thing was the room was very large.
