Había reservado con aire acondicionado y la primera noche me mandaron a otro sector del hotel con otro nombre en un día de 35°, al protestar me cambiaron al otro día
In a quiet street off Russell Square. The beds are comfy.
Staff did not know what they were doing, couldn’t find our booking and immediately said we must have gotten the wrong hotel. Eventually they found it, but didn’t apologise. We were then given a room in the cellar, which was quite dated and tired, with what seemed like damp damage (and not entirely clean: the bedside table was incredibly sticky). One of the beds was directly underneath two aircon fans that blew ice-cold air onto me all night - the aircon could not be adjusted, and I ended up putting a towel in the gaps (which helped a bit). Very expensive for such a faulty, dingy room.

Great location, staff friendly and helpful, incredibly spacious room (superior double) and bathroom - in general and especially for London. Our room overlooked a green square and was very peaceful. On that basis, really good value for money.
Other facilities pretty limited and decor generally "tired". Breakfast room was cramped, buffet (continental) breakfast a bit limited. Cooked breakfast cost extra and required a strange tick-box order on paper before sitting down, and felt like they'd given as little of everything as possible (eg, 1 sausage). Overall I would sympathy again though, for the room size and position.
Be aware, there is construction in the neighbouring building; we did not have a moment of peace. We woke up early morning to drilling on our room wall, with loud drilling noise, shaking, and constant hammering. I even recorded it on video, but Booking.com does not allow videos, so I could only include an image of our room “with view.” Prior to arrival, I asked the hotel for a quiet room, they absolutely ignored it and did not bother to warn me. The moment I entered, the wall was being drilled from the neighbouring building with continuous hammer noise. I complained to the hotel reception, and their answer was, “it is what it is, there is construction all over u.k.. There is nothing we can do!” I am not exaggerating even a bit. And booking.com did nothing about it as well! We came for a short break and left the hotel more tired than when we arrived, with a severe headache. Complete scam and torture! Disgusting! What kind of humans are running this hotel?
Nothing to like, total torture
Es un hotel correcto, muy bien situado, justo detrás del British Museum.
Alto de precio para un estándar de 4 estrellas al que estamos acostumbrados en España. El desayuno inglés no entra en el precio de la habitación normal, si bien el desayuno continental es correcto.
Ligging, grote kamer, prima bed
Location to our offices is perfect. Rooms lovely and spacious. Hotel throughout clean and well serviced. Friendly staff and all facilities throughout the stay were excellent. Good breakfast too.
Nothing to add. Well got great feedback from this trip from 2 colleagues and will be using the Grange in future for our work collegues visiting London.

Great location, lovely big comfortable room for 4 of us. Nice continental breakfast with a choice of a cooked breakfast for an extra fiver. Friendly & helpful staff. We have stayed twice before and will be staying again next year.
Very centrally located hotel - and lovely and quiet overnight. Furnishings a little tired, but couldn't fault the cleanliness. The staff were pleasant but everything took so long - at both check in and check out, and on both occasions the staff member had to call for assistance.
The place felt a little tired.
