Amazing location
Pros:

The location couldn't be better, just a few minutes from Vitosha Bld. and NDK.
The rooms and common areas were all very clean.
The breakfast was very varied, especially the sweets which were yummy. Great value.
Staff, except the receptionist checking us in, were all very helpful and accommodating.

Cons:

1. We booked two similar rooms and expected them to be close to each other, not on two different floors.
2. One room was superior to the other with armchairs and other pieces of furniture. Why? We paid the same price for both.
3. One room was extremely hot. They provided a small fan but that had little effect. They suggested leaving the window open, but was not very possible because of the curtains. The temperature in Sofia is still relatively high and its not yet time to put the central heating on.
4. Water came out of the showers onto the bathroom floor and made a slippery mess.
5. Our safe was sitting on a shelf and could be carried around, but was bolted to the cupboard when pointed out.

Ratings are based on the average of two different rooms.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Very nice staff, explanatory, courteous, professional.
Always someone there to assist.Map available,the front desk night attendant gave directions.Hotel location excellent.European Breakfast was included.

Cons:

The morning fumes of fried bacon, enters the ventilation system, and my second floor room air was unpleasant.When I left the room for breakfast at about 0830, the elevator fan blew a strong fried odor that wasn't pleasant to breeth in .The radio station chosen was not appropriate for the breakfast atmosphere.That is something that could be easily fixed,and would greatly improve morning breakfast ambiance.
