Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier

Proximity to the beach and restaurants.

My wife and I visited Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier a week ago . It is a well maintained , beautiful, safe, resort. The rooms are clean, and it is across the street from the fishing pier. With that being said you have to have a great Team of people to make it a great experience. I would like to thank the Guest Service Agents Sharri, Aaron, Johnathan, Alma , and Maintenance Tech. Thomas. They understand and demonstrate the true meaning of Customer Service and Teamwork. Good job !

Room was so smelly

We booked this room as Diamond members through Wyndham rewards (which was in no way recognized by staff). We booked a standard room, but be aware there is no balcony with this room type. Every other room type has a balcony. We would prefer to have housekeeping daily. When asked to provide this service we were told “housekeeping will not enter your room while you are checked in.” While I can see the benefits from a business perspective, I would encourage Wyndham to see the consumer perspective. We paid good money (along with with use of some reward points) for our room, daily housekeeping should be the standard at this rate…especially when requested.

The room was clean, bed comfy, and an abundance of towels. Location cannot be beat!

There are gentle reminders that this is a Wyndham chain hotel: no walk in shower, crappy toiletries, etc. but all in all this hotel was not a total disappointment.

We drove in late from out of town. We called ahead to let them know not to give away our room, and they noted that we would be late and they were open 24/7. The valet who also took our bags up was very nice and helpful. Front desk greeted us with a smile.

They do have a handicapped elevator with lots of room. The building had a fresh scent and welcome feel to it. Ice cold water on the main level and coffee in the morning.

We got a two bedroom condo. It was not accessible, but the six was beyond what we expected.we were able to fit both scooters. It also has two bathrooms and we were able to call down for a shower chair for the walk in shower in the suit.

We had an issue with the safe and the jets in the tub didn’t work, but they fixed it quickly when we called. They are all so friendly and helpful and quick. The beds are a little on the firm side, but the space was comfortable.

When the windows and doors are closed you can’t hear the outside noise except when the guests are slamming their doors in the halls. The pool is on the second floor and heated but mildly. The hot tub is great temperature with powerful jets.

They do have a decent sized gym and nice activities center. Each day they have something different going on by the members desk. It is conveniently located across from the pier, attached to two restaurants, and within walking distance of the markets.

The balconies are small, but nice. The chairs are metal so a little uncomfortable. The property was clean. The check out was easy. The valet who picked up the luggage when we left greeted us with a smile. They were both quick and helpful. We do plan to come back.

The room was great, the perks was great as well. You can't beat the beach, ocean few and feeling. Just know that this is a Time Share hotel. You will be asked to attend to get some perks. The guy I had for the tour was great. His first time and he was awesome. What I didn't like is this other guy from the financing insult me as I was checking out. Was uncalled for and unprofessional. That alone put a sour taste on my weekend.

First time staying here, had a wonderful room with a view and it was in a great location. The staff were very friendly. The negatives were the housekeeping fee charged by Wyndham since we only stayed 3 days and booked through RCI and that they want $40.00 a night to park. We parked elsewhere. Overall great place to stay.

At check-in we were told our room had an ocean view. It did not. The room was on the 2nd floor and the view was the pool, which was located directly outside the windows. The curtains had to remain closed for privacy.

The property is nice and in a wonderful location. It’s right across the street from the beach and the Oceanside pier. It’s walking distance to some really good restaurants and the weekly street market. The staff was exceptional. Friendly and helpful.

Close to all the amenities and shopping areas. The weather was perfect for this time of year!

Beachfront vibe. My go to place for the past 3yrs of my birthdays. Spent 59 60 now 61st this week. Loved this place

Location is great. We walked to restaurants and very close to the beach. Bed was very comfortable.

Great location right near the pier, the beach and downtown. Depending upon your room location the view can be stunning.
