Breakfast signs up but was told they don’t do breakfast, bit confusing

The bath basin did not have a water mixer. Two separate cold and hot water taps are not good. They may have a mixer tap in another room's bathrooms, but was not in our bath basin.

Das Möbel war heruntergekommen, die Decke auf dem Sofa war verfusselt, die Gardinen waren schon dunkel von Staub, Lichtschutz von den zweiten Gardinen war nicht gegeben. Bügel für jacken habe sich verbogen weil sie zu dünn waren.
Die Deckenlampe hat Nachts und morgens geklirrt, mitten in der Nacht ist ein Bewegungsmelder draußen angegangen und strahlte direkt in unsere Zimmer Licht. Es war sehr hellhörig.Im Badezimmer war der klodeckel schief angebracht, Dusche waren Teile mit rost und voller Kalk.
Im großen und ganzen hat man kein gutes Gefühl in so einen Zimmer zu schlafen.
Würden paar Kleinigkeiten erneuert werden ,hätte der Kunde ein ganz anderes Gefühl, schade!

⭐ 1/5 – Worst Hotel Experience! Disgusting Hygiene, Terrible Service and Serious Privacy Concerns!

My stay at Cranbrook Hotel was absolutely horrible and one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The cleanliness, maintenance, customer service, and overall quality of accommodation were completely unacceptable.

The most disgusting discovery was a condom left on top of the bathroom light fitting! Even worse, there were spider webs (cobwebs) and an actual spider in the bathroom, raising serious concerns about the hotel’s hygiene and housekeeping standards.

The accommodation was poorly maintained, with broken door glass covered with black tape, missing ceiling light bulbs, a damaged shower attachment held together with tape, dirty cups containing brown stains, and neglected bathroom fittings.

The entrance was equally horrible. We had to walk through a narrow, unpleasant alleyway surrounded by deteriorating wooden fencing and poorly maintained structures. It looked more like an abandoned back passage than a hotel entrance.

Another major concern was the handling of our personal identification documents. We were initially asked to present physical ID and were then required to send our identification documents by email. No clear explanation was provided about how our sensitive personal information would be stored, protected, or accessed, which raised serious privacy and data security concerns.

Customer service was extremely disappointing, and the overall experience fell far below even the most basic expectations of hospitality.

I have attached photographs showing the actual condition of the property so potential guests can judge for themselves.

Final Verdict: ⭐ 1/5 – Absolutely disgusting experience, unacceptable hygiene, damaged facilities, poor service, and concerning ID-handling procedures. Extremely poor value for money. I would never stay here again and strongly recommend avoiding Cranbrook Hotel!
