Un aspetto molto negativo è stato il pagamento al check-in. Le due camere erano già state pagate in anticipo tramite Booking.com, ma al nostro arrivo ci è stato richiesto nuovamente l’intero importo delle due camere, esattamente dello stesso valore. Successivamente ci è stato spiegato che si trattava di una pre-autorizzazione a titolo di cauzione, alla quale si aggiungevano ulteriori 75 dollari per ciascuna camera. Al momento del check-out ci è stato detto che gli importi sarebbero stati sbloccati entro 3-4 giorni, ma ad oggi risultano ancora bloccati sulla nostra carta e stiamo aspettando che vengano restituiti. La situazione non ci è stata spiegata chiaramente al momento del pagamento e ci ha creato molta preoccupazione e disagio.
L’hotel è inoltre piuttosto datato: l’arredamento vintage potrebbe avere il suo fascino, ma purtroppo molti elementi sono molto usurati e rovinati. È un vero peccato. Anche la colazione americana era molto scarsa, con pochissima scelta e poca varietà.

The room was dirty and in poor condition. The curtains were ripped, handles broken off the dresser. There was a used contact lens on the carpet, the bedding was dirty, the bathroom was dirty. There was only one nearly empty toilet paper roll on the room.

Passte perfekt zu unserem Zwischenstopp - hier könnte man auch ein paar Tage verbringen

Große Zimmer, Hotel sieht edel aus, schöner Wasserfall ganz nah

Cons:

Es wurde mit Pool angeboten, deswegen hatten wir es hauptsächlich gewählt. Auf Nachfrage bei der Anmeldung wurde uns gesagt, hier gibt es keinen Pool. Nachdem wir durch das Hotel gingen haben wir den Pool gesehen und ein Schild mit Renovierung. Daraufhin haben wir nochmal den Rezeptionisten angesprochen und auch da nur ein „ah sie haben es gefunden“ zu hören gekriegt. Ein nettes entschuldigen Sie, es muss leider renoviert werden, wäre angebrachter gewesen. Aber alles andere war super, auch das frühstückspersonal ausgesprochen freundlich

Extremely dirty. All furniture worn and dirty. Bathroom door did not close closer than 8” from closing. Light under microwave would not turn off. Paid extra for sleeper sofa room and could not use it because a metal bar
Was so uncomfortable to lay on. Cushions were so worn and thin. Dresser drawers would not open very far or close at all. Bugs all over floors. Floors sticky and really dirty. An awful experience
