Comfort Suites Southport

We got there and checked in and got to the room. We had a 2 queen bed , 1 sofa bed room for 5 of us . My daughter was going to sleep on sofa bed and realize when we got in there the sofa bed was broken. The TV was also not working. The shower curtain would not close all the way. I went downstairs to see about changing rooms and report the issues. The guy shift guy said he knew about the bedroom and the broken sofa bed and said they forgot to put it on the bad bed list. He couldnt put me in another room because the hotel was full. Other issues I bad was the hotel breakfast. The eggs were cold and watered down, no meat. I felt like I should of been discounted for the room I got but wasnt. Lastly, the beds felt like sleeping on concrete. I stayed at comfort suites before, this hotel did not have comfortable beds.

Now, this could just be an issue with the night auditor they have, but I was told I was getting a quiet room at the end of the hall. Turns out my room was right next to the exterior door, so the door was slamming all night. Also, it was right across from the pool, so there was a ton of pool noise immediately in the morning. Now the hotel was near capacity and I understand that. Had the night auditor not stated it was quiet and away from folks I wouldn't have expected a quiet room had I been told we're near capacity and this was the last available room I would have understood the potential for noise. Let just go back to honest hospitality. Im a night auditor at a decent 4.5 star hotel, and I personally would never describe a room by an exterior door as quiet.

No house keeping after requesting 3 separate times

Stayed Thursday- Monday not a single time did I get room service even tho I went to the front desk and requested it 3 separate times, I had to go to the counter to get my towels and wash cloths every day had to take out my own trash

The hide a bed couch in our room was broke when we pulled the hide a bed out. It was nasty dirty underneath it. The bed by the window was very uncomfortable I could feel the springs in my side.

We were put close to lobby and breakfast room, too noisy. Children running through halls at 10 pm. Baby crying next door. ADA room not requested, but assigned. Flat shower caused water all over bathroom floor. Beds hard. Ran out of sausage on one of the days. Gym equipment did not work. Maintenance unable to help. Pool looked dirty. Road had tons if potholes.

Rooms are not what is pictured on website. No chair and couch in suites. Refrigerator did not work. Had to change rooms and that room the deadbolt did not work. They fixed the deadbolt by removing the metal plate. Not safe! Very poor comfort suites.
