Pros:

The hotel is located right next to the beautiful Nakajima Park and a subway station. I could really feel the vibe of a well-maintained, high-class hotel with a rich tradition. I especially liked the spacious lobby, the nice garden, and the view from my room. Although it is just a 10-minute walk from the crowded Susukino area, the surroundings are remarkably calm and peaceful.
​Parking a rental car was easy thanks to the spacious hotel parking lot, which charges a very reasonable fee compared to nearby private lots (2,500 yen for the first night, and 2,000 yen from the second night with unlimited in-and-out privileges). It is such a pity that this wonderful hotel will be closing early next year due to regional redevelopment.

A beautiful hotel to stay in Sapporo
Pros:

The location of the hotel was fantastic, very near to the park and a very short distance from the shops and restaurants. We booked the triple room which was spacious, well-furnished and faced the park. Breakfast had a good variety, with salad, hot and cold dishes and the breakfast room faced a beautiful garden. The staff were very polite, nice and helpful and our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. Parking spaces were available at the hotel but it was easier to walk around the area than to drive.

Cons:

I found out that this hotel will be permanently closed in February 2027 to make way for a new development. It was first opened in 1964 but for an old hotel, it was very well-maintained and nothing was out of place.

少し残念
Pros:

地下鉄中島公園駅と直結に等しく、アクセスが良い。
お部屋も広く、使い易い。

Cons:

今回は、7/11(土)が満室で、同じタイプのお部屋が連泊で予約できず、部屋移動となりました。

7階のツインのお部屋の排水管が、メンテナンス必要かと思います。
お隣のお部屋の水回り使用中の際、逆流しているのかと思うほどボコボコと大きな音がして、びっくりしました。
チェックアウトの時にお伝えしました。
