Unexpectedly disappointing.
Pros:

The hotel has many facilities for spa treatments, pool, etc. morning breakfast was good

Cons:

I choose an American hotel change expecting that communicating in English would not be a problem. That was not the case. We traveled through Slovenia and Switzerland in non-American hotels worth less problems communicating. We did not have a reservation for dinner yet we felt we were going to be turned away even though dining room was 80 percent empty which did not change while we did eat (after hassle at dining room entrance).

Im Hotel wird nichts investiert. Es lebt von der Substanz.
Pros:

Lage, Frühstück und Abendessen, Wellnessbereich > es waren jedoch von Saunen nur 3 in Betrieb.
Nettes zuvorkommendes Personal

Cons:

Das von 5 Saunen nur 3 in Betrieb waren. Duschen waren zum Teil defekt.
Möbel müssten dringend erneuert werden! Es besteht ein Renovierungsstau.

Perfekt für eine Woche Entspannung und Erholung.
Pros:

Die Lage war sehr gut, man kann mit der Bahn bis zur Zugspitze und an den Eibsee fahren. Schöne Wanderwege. Frühstück war vollkommen ausreichend und Abwechslungsreich. Man kann auch Kaffee trinken und ein Stück Kuchen essen, auch außerhalb des Hotels und die Landschaft genießen. Abendbrot konnte man im Restaurant im Haus einnehmen. Zusammenfassend ein sehr schöner Urlaub, mit einem super Hotel. Gerne wieder.

Pros:

Gefallen hat uns die Lage. Sie war ein super Ausgangspunkt für unsere Ausflüge. Super lieb war, dass wir Hundenäpfe zur Verfügung gestellt bekamen. Die Zimmer an sich waren auch sauber.

Cons:

Wir sind mit unserem Hund angereist und waren in dem linken Nebengebäude. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und roch sehr muffig. Das Badezimmer war die reinste Katastrophe. In jeder Fuge schimmel. Die Toilette war sooo niedrig, ich mit meinen 1,60m bin fast auf dem Boden gesessen. Der Pool ist einfach nur super kalt. Andere Gäste bemängelten dies auch.

Das Essen ist so lala. Am ersten Abend haben wir uns für das Buffet entschieden. Ich bin ein Salat Esser und fand es gut auch sehr gut gewürzt. Mein Mann hat das Hirschgulasch gegessen und fand es sehr lecker.

Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist auch super, allerdings waren heute alle Tassen und Glastassen auf einer Seite super schmutzig (uns hatte ein anderer Gast darauf aufmerksam gemacht) ich suchte lange Zeit einen Mitarbeiter und habe es der Dame sofort gesagt. Die Dame fand es allerdings wichtiger das Besteck zu polieren. Im Orbatzda waren leider kleine Falter.

Also im gesamten würden wir nicht mehr kommen. Von einem 4 Sterne Hotel wirklich sehr weit entfernt.

Sehr gute Lage. Frühstückssauswahl sehr gut. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Hotel werden wir noch einmal buchen

Very nice hotel in a great location. Good place for nature and mountains lovers.

Clean rooms and baths. Very good breakfast.

Cons:

In the room there was no kettle (was expecting as a standard of the room equipment). The hotel is composed of 3 buildings. The swimming pool area is in one of the buildings. To access it from other buildings you have to walk outside (which could be especially on the colder days quite discouraging).

Tolles Hotel in schöner Lage
Pros:

Wir haben in dem Hotel 3 Nächte verbracht, waren im Nebengebäude untergebracht und hatten 2DZ. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war absolut fantastisch und es fehlte an nichts. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, die Zimmer großzügig. Die Lage von dem Hotel ist sehr ruhig. Man kann direkt los wandern, z.B. in die Höllentalklamm(toll , aber anspruchsvoll) . Grainau ist ein ganz toller Urlaubsort.
