Needed a room close to Dunkeld House Hotel at the last minute due to a room shortage at Dunkeld House Hotel. It was the closest to Dunkeld House.
The staff were really great when my husband left sone clothes behind and arranged for Royal Mail to collect them and return them to us (we arranged the label) Really appreciated that.
Absolutely overpriced for a fairly average room, at almost £500 for 2 nights. Cost the same as the room we’d booked at Dunkeld House Hotel that my daughter ended up staying in. The room here was by far inferior and we felt very ripped off.
Perfect location, right by the river with parking available just across the street. The room was very comfortable and spacious, the bathroom was modern and clean.
We had dinner at their Bistro and the food was great.
Breakfast was good, but as most everywhere around Scotland so far, it was mostly eggs in different combinations.they did have some pastries and cereal buffet though.
Clean with
Nice bathroom
Beds very uncomfortable, work men right outside window at 7am drilling and hammering. Breakfast sub par. No continental selection
Great location, beautiful view from the room. Nice accommodations.
Great location, car parking, beautiful hotel tasteful decor and immaculate. Top quality food breakfast cooked to order and staff exceptional.
Nothing
Excellent location. The room was a good size and nicely decorated with lovely touletries. Breakfast was pleasant. However more three star than four overall.
The parking is terrible. Designated parking fills up so you have to use public pay parking. As it’s in the village centre there is nowhere to drop off. Sadly we found that staff were somewhat begrudging in their approach to service. Some pleasant individuals but overall the sense was that service was not important. They also looked rather scruffy and not representative of a four star hotel. We sat in lounge on the day of the Wimbledon Gentlemen’s singles final and turned the TV on with no sound. We checked with the only other couple in there first and they were fine with it. Five minutes later a member of staff came over, turned it off and said we couldn’t watch it. It wasn’t “that sort of hotel with a sports bar”. Very abrupt and not at all apologetic. It reflects the attitude of the staff overall. The outside bar across the road was much better. Lovely staff, great view and great food.
Great location and the riverside bar was stunning.
Nothing much
Super, comfortable place, with character and great food. Well located near the old town and cathedral.
