Lovely hotel in great location
Pros:

A modern, clean, upmarket hotel in a good location. Good swimming pool and leisure facilities. Free parking included.

Average stay in athlone
Pros:

The room was v clean hotel easy to find from train station

Cons:

There was a smell of stale cigarette smoke from the curtains. The adults only rule at the swimming pool in the evenings was not enforced. Breakfast was mediocre.

Location was walking distance to the town which was lovely.

Cons:

Our room had floor to ceiling windows with voile & curtains but looked out onto a busy hotel walkway and we had to keep our curtains closed the whole time as you could see through into the bedroom from the walkway. We were glad we were only there a few hours. The windows should have 1 way viewing glass.

Pros:

Large room, well equiped. Very good breakfast with a lot of choice. Parking included. Staff professional.

Cons:

Music outside late in the evening. The shower was not so clean with black dirty joints. Clearly we don't expect that for this level of price !
