A number of heavily drunken customers were giving reception some grief.
I had to request to change rooms, which was quickly accepted, as the room I had been allocated smelt significantly badly of cigarettes. Not ideal noting we booked requiring late check in due to travel so really wanted to go straight to bed. Though staff did sort quickly.
We were given a room fitted out for a disabled person. We were not warned it was that. Trying to turn out the lights resulted in a visit from reception asking what help we required. The wash hand basins were small and the height suited to someone sitting down. The provision of a mirror was poor. The hanging space was poor. We were told as we checked out that it was the only room left and usually was combined with the next room. There was a connecting door. Had we known about this in advance we would not have stayed. It was unfortunate that we needed to stay as we were attending a family funeral and Hamilton races were on that weekend. No doubt when combined with the adjoining room it is an excellent facility for a disabled person and carers.

Room was comfortable although not every one wants an upgrade to king size bed . Excellent breakfast as usual .
If we wanted a king size bed , we would have booked one , not everyone wants an upgrade .
