Pros:

Loved the location, the view from the room, the breakfast and the comfortable bed.

It’s older so a little quirky but I’d stay again. The location was great for the price.

Comfortable stay. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming
Pros:

Breakfast was adequate, but a bit limited on choice. However the staff were very polite, friendly and attentive.

Cons:

A little more choice for breakfast. For example natural yoghurt and perhaps some pastries.

All in all, a pretty good stay.
Pros:

Good location. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Breakfast could be improved by having plain yogurts as well as fruit ones. And a bowl of boiled eggs would be nice too. We asked for them and they came but, it’s not a difficult thing to provide as a matter of course. And some more fresh fruit …

Could be so much better with just a few tweaks.
Pros:

Good location, helpful staff, comfy beds, working shower.

Cons:

In the room … Stained carpet, old and broken furniture, wardrobe not fixed to wall so unsafe, bathroom not cleaned during our 5 day stay, cracked floor tile, no plug for basin, various chips and scuff marks generally, weeks of dust behind basin.
No decaff tea, no dairy free options.

Pleasant staff but needs rooms need improving
Pros:

Location - right by the beach amazing views of the sea both during the day and night
Staff are all very friendly and polite and made the stay really enjoyable
Breakfast was good with lots of options from cereal to English breakfast (the mushrooms were especially delicious!)

Cons:

The 4th floor is a very tight stairway and can feel very claustrophobic. Also the floor of the rooms were also uneven and felt as though I would fall through. The locks on the door also did not lock which was unnerving.

Pros:

The location was great! While the hotel is old it is well maintained and the age is what makes it so charming. You can tell it was a high class place "back in the day"!! We were only there for one night but would go back to that hotel if returning to Brighton Beach.
