The price
Everything else. Arrived at 15:15, no sign of staff until someone showed up at 15:30. Not a great start. Room reflects the price, it’s grim. Car park is locked overnight, so if you go out in the evening you’ll not get back in. On street parking is available but only if you remove your car by 08:00.

Room was a little dated, could do with a makeover, but was clean and tidy, but for the cost was excellent value for money.
Bed was very comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was very good and served by pleasant staff.

Exceptional for the price
Amazing stay. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with crisp, fresh‑smelling sheets and thoughtful touches throughout. The owners are genuinely hospitable, and the bedroom includes a generous supply of tea and coffee, plus biscuits and a choice of soap or shower gel. The room itself is very comfortable, with a fridge and a smart TV.
Breakfast offers a great range of options and excellent value for money. The location is ideal—only a 10–15 minute walk to the town centre and Northampton train station. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in across Northampton, this is my number one choice. They offer single, double, and family rooms, making it suitable for every type of stay.

The breakfast was probably the most decent thing about the hotel
The furniture was outdated the kettle was left with water in along with mould and should have been dis-scaled before another guest should have used it. The shower pressure was very poor and the cubicle was missing a door so whilst using the shower water was going all over the floor and the staff seemed disorganized upon check in.
