overall breathtaking views,great food extremely accomadating staff in every way
Pros:

breakfast fabulous,helpful staff.after notifying the hotel about our lack of taxi service they said we could call them and they would pick us up

Cons:

distance to city,unable to walk long distances. I did not realize that.The hotel did not move.the city of Stresa has poor taxi service. .

- La gentillesse du personnel
- L'emplacement très proche de l'embarcadère (Carciano et pas Stresa).
- La chambre avec un grand balcon et belle vue sur le lac.
- La piscine

Cons:

- Hôtel à groupes
- Le petit déjeuner très décevant et pas à la hauteur de l'établissement : fruits au sirop, charcuterie et fromage premier prix, choix très limité et identique tous les jours.
- Le restaurant très moyen : tarte poire chocolat réchauffée au micro-ondes d'où la pâte toute molle et le chocolat tout coulant.
- Les américains qui se croient tout permis et fument leurs cigares dans la piscine.

Pros:

Absolutely beautiful hotel, old world charm and sophistication. We booked a room with a balcony with lake view, well worth it, superb views to the mountains. Breakfast served in huge room, loads of choice. Only downside is location, it's 15 minutes walk to town centre for restaurants however it's a pleasant walk along the lake.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und sehr gut. Etwas mehr Frischobst wäre schön gewesen.
Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. Der Lago Maggiore liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe und wir hatten einen super Ausblick vom Balkon. Die Altstadt ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Cons:

Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis des Abendessen finden wir etwas zu teuer. Aber man muss ja nicht im Hotel essen.
