The rating doesn’t reflect the real state of things.
Pros:

Location was good and the staff was pleasant

Cons:

The room was really grimy - the surfaces were wiped and the linens were changed but i don’t think the room was ever cleaned beyond that. The bathroom as well, quite moldy… The breakfast was a big disappointment since it was rated as “wonderful” on booking, it’s “good” at best. All in all, we feel like we overpaid.

Ontbijt ws top en personeel super vriendelijk. Locatie ideaal.

Cons:

Muren zeer slecht geïsoleerd, ‘s nachts veel lawaai op de gang en door de dunnen muurtjes hoor je echt alles. Zelfde nachtlawaai van op de straat, we sliepen op het 4de verdiep en moesten ‘s nachts al ons raam dicht doen voor het lawaai maar veel maakte dit niet uit.
De douche was een nachtmerrie, constant uit zichzelf veranderde de temperatuur vh water, van koud naar warm en omgekeerd, echt niet leuk om zo te moeten douchen. Dit was hetzelfde geval bij de kamer van ons dochter en in de kamer van onze zoon.
