Its was in general very good!

Cons:

It feels like, no the walk ways nees a good clean, the stairs to the two floors havnt been cleanes in a while
The common areas need to be cleaned vacuumed is a minimum

Disappointing.
Pros:

View was good. Near shops. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Bathroom was for a paraplegic, the stool in the shower was filthy dirty, shower curtain was also dirty. Black mold on the back of the shower wall.
Kettle cannot even stand up straight due to short wire.
Cupboard under kettle dirty.
Coffee or something spilled down cupboard.
Dirty Curtains and blood or something on the curtain.
Curtains of rail.
When we booked out, the gentlemen were sitting on the chair not even offering my mother that has Parkinson's and have a walking stick some help. Not even with the door. We struggled by ourselves.
Then the main door is filthy dirty.
Carpets in front was dirty, not sure when it gets vacuumed. We stayed 2 days.

Excellent location with an extremely spacious room & great bathroom facilities.
Pros:

THE BEST location in Simon's Town - directly at/overlooking the harbour.
Extremely friendly & accommodating reception staff, with 24-hr security on duty at the entrance and parking area.
Massive "loft" room overlooking the leafy courtyard and harbour area outside, incl. the onsite parking in front of reception.
King-size bed was extremely comfortable (on the firmer side, which I prefer) and the linen was exceptionally crisp & clean.
Separate toilet & shower rooms, both of which were also spacious - the walk-in shower in particular was massive.
Solid Wi-Fi reception in the room, as well as a bar fridge, coffee station, large desk, satellite TV and ample closet space.
Excellent value for money considering the extremely spacious, clean & comfortable room, coupled with the great location.

Cons:

Nothing at all to dislike or complain about - the entire stay was 10/10. 👌🏽
Perhaps just one point to mention as a "nice touch" suggestion: Considering the extensive use of wood flooring in that massive room, maybe disposable slippers could be provided for future guests.
