Accoglienza deludente: la cordialità dovrebbe essere la regola, non l'eccezione!
Pros:

Mare a 30 metri di distanza, ma per raggiungerlo manca un ingresso diretto e bisogna attraversare a piedi un ponte stradale che passa sopra la ferrovia attigua all'hotel, che diventa abbastanza impraticabile per persone più anziane a cui resta solo il piacere di poter osservare il panorama dal proprio balcone della stanza. Colazione molto al di sotto delle aspettative, con pochissima scelta. Piscina ben tenuta ma anch'essa difficile da raggiungere e senza nessuna indicazione.

Cons:

La mia esperienza all'Hotel Za Maria è stata piuttosto deludente, soprattutto per la scarsa cordialità riscontrata nella gestione familiare.

Uno dei proprietari, quello maggiormente presente, si è dimostrato freddo, poco disponibile al dialogo e praticamente mai sorridente. Durante la colazione chiedeva ripetutamente e ad alta voce il numero della camera, anche davanti agli altri ospiti.

Inoltre, il caffè mi veniva servito in bicchierini di plastica, mentre altre bevande erano normalmente servite agli altri clienti in tazze di ceramica. Alla mia richiesta di spiegazioni, la giustificazione è stata l'eccessivo numero di tazzine da lavare: una risposta francamente poco convincente!

Un altro componente della famiglia, alla richiesta di un secondo caffè dopo appena dieci minuti, ha commentato: "Ah, ma lei è un malato di caffè!". Una battuta che ho trovato poco elegante e fuori luogo.

Unica nota positiva, la terza persona della gestione, sempre sorridente, gentile, disponibile e attenta alle richieste. A lei va il mio sincero apprezzamento.

Anche il parcheggio è risultato problematico: il piccolo garage sotterraneo, con pochissimi posti, presenta una rampa talmente ripida da rendere rischioso l'accesso per automobili con poca altezza da terra.

In conclusione, non pretendo privilegi, ma semplicemente cortesia, professionalità e rispetto. L'ospitalità si misura soprattutto nei piccoli gesti, e purtroppo, fatta eccezione per una sola persona, qui sono mancati.

The details stated that evening meal was available, it wasn't.. Reception chap said it of season. Cycling so after a long ride, meant a 6 mile round trip to get food. Breakfast was a yoghurt, slices of cheese and a slice of bread. Top tip, don't stay in Octobet. Also change details on booking. Com

Enjoyed our last minute stay and the views and pool were great

Spokojny, ładny obiekt.
Pros:

Piękny widok z balkonu.
Przejście z basenu bezpośrednio na plażę na której również były leżaki oraz parasole.

Relaxing stay in a non-tourist part of Sicily.
Pros:

The hotel was very clean. It's right at the beach, so you could easily go for a swim at the beach or in the pool. They offer beds at the beach which can be used by hotel guests.

Cons:

The offerings at breakfast are very simple, and you do need to go have breakfast early to make sure you have some choice. The beds are quite hard. Cleaning services come early in the day, so plan your day with this in mind.
I'd recommend this hotel to locals.
