Good basic place but let down by lack of bar or fridges.
Pros:

Chosen as 15 mins walk to main Altstadt sites and very reasonable cost. Mitte station is very close as is the main line. Rooms big and comfortable as was bed. Good air-con in heatwave. Good shower, very good buffet breakfast. Pleasant staff.

Cons:

They had closed the Bar (we were not warned) due to staffing/low occupancy and no pleasant bar near. No fridges in rooms for any bought beers/wine/water.
Penny pinching: only 1 complimentary bottle of water for your stay, however long. Had to buy at exorbitant price or lug it back from a supermarket in the worst heatwave ....40C at the time.
